@Riot Dominion

I realize that in it's final state it was an unbalanced mess, there were a ton of bots, and it took forever to get into, but is there any chance of classic Dominion ever finding it's way back to League? I really did enjoy it. For better or worse.

I really miss playing it, and not this definitely not dominion crap, its not as good as dominion.

Dominion was the flippin bomb, people play it like TDM and go "omg so unfair so snowbally" Ive seen games go from 150-25 to 195-200, unlike SR, Dominion is a mode you can come back from THAT DOES NOT INVOLVE THROWING LATE GAME BECAUSE HIGH DEATH TIMERS if someone pulls the team together and forms a cohesive strategy. It was such an intense objective based mode.

I literally never played Dominion until about a couple weeks before they said they were scrapping it, and when I played I said to myself "...why didn't I play this sooner?" Sure, it had bots but it was worth looking past it to look at the big picture of how fun it was.

Riot should have two separate rotating game mode time frames. Stuff for Rift or new maps stays on the days we've got now. Crystal Scar days would be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and would rotate between Dominion, Ascension, DnD, and possible an official Hide and Seek mode if Riot ever gets around to making it.

Hoping they bring it back to the weekly rotation as a regular, since I really only play PvP these days for Ascension since it's the next best thing

I think it's unlikely to ever return to League as a permanent game mode. They simply didn't feel like they had the resources to dedicate to that map, and it's always been something that I understand from a business perspective.

Given how much the game changes anyway, it was incredibly difficult for Riot to keep Dominion fun for most players. As a result, they felt the need to scrap it; there were very few players in that mode. It's hard to justify keeping something that costs more money than it's bringing in.

A LOT of players on the boards like to argue about that, but you don't make as much money as Riot does by continuing to support work on products that don't return the investment.

Dominion can stay in the trash where it belongs
