More feeders in flex

I think flex is harder to climb in as a solo player in support role because there are too many feeders. Don't get me wrong I can climb, but it's a lot slower than my solo/duo climb and I'm just curious if others have experienced the same thing.

Most of my games are ending something like this https://snag.gy/JKEVa1.jpg . In the game before that my yas is down 1/4 against their darius in 10 minutes along with a fresh level 30 ashe. The game before that I had a feeding taliyah jg who obviously didn't know how to use the pick with an autofill adc who gave up within the first 10 minutes. Before that a 2/10/7 ori who lost lane to an annie. Game before that got an adc who once again was sleeping or something in lane and got hooked every single time he came to lane. Game before that one, my team won thanks to a 0/9/2 feeding top laner on the enemy team. Before that one we won thanks to a sleeping adc on the enemy team. Lost the one before bc our top laner wouldn't stop feeding, gave first few kills and ended with 17 deaths.

I'm just going through my match history and there is invariably someone hardcore feeding their ass off every single game 100%. It definitely wasn't like this in solo/duo for me. What is it about flex queue that makes so many people feed so hard? Is it that matchmaking is more volatile?

Flex que isn't meant for solo players. That's why parties of four are disabled since they don't expect to find a solo player to join. It's same as last season; find a team, find voice comms, play as a coordinated team to win.

Or is it because being put together with 4 people partied together is generally an undesirable experience? People complained about this back when flex or dynamic was made, not that they don't expect solo players to win. If it was as you say then riot wouldn't allow people to queue solo.

I can't deny that flex isn't meant for solo players, that may or may not be true.

Might be because it is harder to influence a teammate's morale and encourage them if they are in voice chat with others in the game.

This makes sense, it could be the reason why it's harder for me to win in flex compared to solo/duo. This doesn't explain the disproportionate feeding though.

Players trying to grandstand and make plays to look cool for their queue buddies?

Not saying that's the only reason, but I'd bet that it contributes. People hate feeling like dead weight, they don't want their friends to have to carry them, so they keep playing like they are winning because they want to be the carry and don't know how to get carried.

Also, maybe due to players who start talking in voice comms more and focusing less on the game (getting distracted) as they get more and more behind.

That's logical. People do tend to be more aggressive and courageous when around friends.
