Am I the only person who is bugged when somebody on your team says "hey can I mid" Like, no. Dude this was one of the major reasons for there being a new champ select.
Why do I have to deal with players that treat new champion select like blind pick on a consistent basis.

Well the whole idea of ranked is to be competitive and try to maximize your chance to win right? Well if I played Pantheon in the middle lane for the last 1000 games in a row what argument could you possibly make to say it is best for the team for me to try something new in ranked. Unless the other player is exactly like me and also did the same thing then they should adjust around the strengths and weaknesses of the team. Some players like myself go out of their way to specialize in a single thing to try and maximize their understanding of a specific champion in a specific roll and then want to test their progression in a more serious environment than blind pick normal. Saying you are offended that a player like me would ask for middle lane is like saying you enjoy losing and can't understand basic common sense.

Blade of Justic1 votesI'm not too "into" draft, but you don't necessarily HAVE to play the role you're given as long as the other person is okay with giving up that position.
The only way to know is to ask.
It's not like I have people immediately jumping on the chance to steal away Support from me.
