Random doesn't mean All champions.

Now i know the circlejerk here is that ARAM should unlock all champs, and that if you disagree you don't even know what Random is.

Personally i think that's all horseshit.

ARAM: All Random All Mid.

Nowhere in it does it say all champions have to be unlocked.

All Random => Everyone picks random All Mid => Everyone goes mid

so i did a quick google search as to what the rules for aram used to be. Nowhere is it stated you need to own all champions to be allowed into an aram custom game.

https://www.dictionary.com/browse/random The best definition for league is prolly the second one. Everything in a set has exactly the same chance of being picked. That set being the champs i own and want to play. There's no reason for me to buy anything i don't care about. somehow this notion started that you NEED every champ in the game. and at a high level i might agree, but fuck this is aram guys.

If an account runs only aram champs then so be it. I don't, and still manage to get a decent lifetime winrate. So why do y'all keep using those accounts as an excuse? you're the one who wanted to own all the champs. Why do you get a kick out of ruining someone else's fun just because you ruined your own? Then again some of you will stalk an account for weeks cuz they were mean to you once.

TLDR: the first All in ARAM doesn't mean all champions, it means all players. you're the one who had to be competitive and own all champs, don't come ruining aram for people who actually buy a champ because they want to play it.

That's like asking ''why were Karthus or Kassadin disabled for urf.''

Yes it's aram but winning is still fun. When you get to play against the same old Vel/Lux/Xerath bs then it's not so fun.

The argument wouldn't make you have to buy all the champions to then play ARAM. All champions will just be unlocked for you when you get into a match just like in nexus blitz. In nexus every champion is unlocked for you to play even if you don't own them. People wish to move this into ARAM is all.

Woah you wasted so much time

I was there before ARAM existed. Back when you had to play it in customs Even back then it was evident that ranged champions are superior

**THE ONLY FKING REASON THAT YOU DIDNT NEED TO HAVE ALL CHAMPIONS IS BECAUSE **

A: THATS IMPOSSIBLE TO CHECK, EVERYONE WOULD HAVE TO SCREENSHOT OR SOME SHIT AKA NON PRACTICAL AND WASTE OF TIME, B: VERY FEW PEOPLE HAD ALL CHAMPIONS

Also it didnt have to be random

Just play nexus blitz people who the fk even plays ARAM. Nblitz has its issues but still (Some are shared with summoner rift)

Here are the only Nblitz issues:

** like coinflip smite wars Red, scuttle, Blue, Herald. ** ** Ranged champions / bad players being turtled by towers, happens on summoner rift to ** ** Missions spawning in r%%%%%ed proximity clearly in 1 team favour **

But even despite that its alteast 4 times better than champion select coinflip ARAM IS

You had a reasonable argument aside from these statements.

I personally would prefer ARAM unlocking all champs because I feel the increased champ variety would be good for the mode. At the same time, I recognize that some people, such as yourself, do prefer the current system for whatever reason. Just as it wouldn't be fair to you to have to play with all champs, it's not fair to me to have to play with/against curated champs.

With that said, the problem with those statements is that it directly conflicts with progression everywhere else in League. Having more champs is a good thing in League: it adds variety to the game. If Riot didn't want you to buy more champs, they wouldn't keep releasing new ones. In ARAM though, buying more champs is often a bad thing. If the "best" way to enjoy ARAM is to handicap yourself in every other game mode, there's something wrong.

Unlocking all champs in ARAM would improve the game mode, not ruin it.
