What would it be like if Neeko copied the passive of the champion shes copying?

Right now it is kind of a novelty.

That's a HARD HARD HARD HARD HARD NO. That would be busted as fuck. In fact, copying any abilities of allies would just make her impossible to balance and she'd break the game. For instance, your suggestion:

Neeko jungles. Takes a few hits after taking her camps. Copies Garen , heals up, goes back to farming. Neeko supports. Goes into bushes. Copies Teemo , goes invisible. Neeko in the jungle again. About to gank, copies Rakan or Yasuo for his free shield so she has more durability. Neeko's running away. Copies Janna so she can get that burst of MS to flee.

I don't really think it would make it busted though. Especially since you are at the mercy of your teams picks.

It would be situationally super OP. Copy the Kaisa, so CC counts for double tags. Copy thresh to get souls and free armor / ap. Copy Alistar when in lane to heal up from minions dying Copy Corki to get a free package at 8 minutes Copy Azir to make a free tower. Copy ASol to get free stars while farming (cuz it doesn't look farmin minions/monsters makes it go away) Copy Evelynn to get a free stealth and heal up post 6 Copy Ivern to get easier jungle clearing (especially if he can take your marks) Copy Lissandra mid team fight when you have to back off to see all the Thralls go extra nuts Copy Ornn so you get free masterwork items

It would be super busted.

Well riot can make it so any stats or requirements for the passive is decreased-increased. So if you gain free armor and ap from thresh passive then the gain is lowered while in that form and you lose the stats when you are not thresh anymore. And something like Kai´sa, the stack generation that you give is only half of one stack per auto attack.

This would be really hard to do, but I think it would make it slightly easier to balance because it wouldn’t be that powerful.

Riot could also code in that Neeko only gets any stat stuff from a copied champ´s passive. So with janna´s passiveÑ Neeko will get the MS boost, but it is halved on Neeko and allies only get half of the MS boost when moving towards the copied Janna(Neeko). But with Darius passive, she wouldn’t have the DOT on her auto attacks, but still has the visual stacks and gains the AD when she reaches 5 stacks on a champ.

Just look at the bug list (and bug reports) each patch, and let me know if you think Riot'll handle it in a clean fashion. lol
