Anivia Gameplay Update Concept
We have an ice witch in League, and I think Anivia was meant to be League's frost mage. Currently I wouldn't say she needs a rework. Her kit works and her player are enjoys her, but I think her concept could be achieved in a way that's more enjoyable to play. Inspired by Alysia's release I decided to try to redesign Anivia and modernize her kit and concept.
- Make her passive something she actively interacts with.
- Make her combos less binary.
- Build a wall and make the enemy team pay for it.
- Give her more options for counter play and counter pushing.
- Give her ult a big moment instead of keeping it as the always up toggle move it is now, I know this is something core to Anivia, but I think a real singular cast ultimate would be more satisfying, allow for more skill expression, and allow for pushing against her.
What do you pick Anivia for?
- Control
- Burst
- Sustain
Where is she weak?
- Mobility
- Tankiness
Passive: Rebirth Anivia's abilities Chill enemies, slowing them by 25% scaling with AP.
While below (Chill's slow %) health, regenerate health.
Q: Flash Frost Cast a frost bolt that stops on the first enemy champion struck. All enemies hit take magic damage and champions hit take additional damage and are Chilled for 1.5 s and have their magic resist sharply reduced. Chilled champions are stunned for 1.5 s.
W: Crystallize Create a curved wall of ice perpendicular to you that blocks movement for 4 seconds.
E: Frostbite Call down a frost nova at the target location after a second delay, dealing magic damage to enemies in the area and Chilling for 1.5 seconds. Enemies already Chilled take massively increased damage from the frost nova.
