Riot's inability to punish trolls breed toxicity.

The title really says it all. The inability to punish people who intentionally troll games causes people to become toxic, whether for one game or a chain of them. It's EXTREMELY frustrating to lose LP because your Veigar support went 0-9 and was charging into turrets early on and trying to 1v2 when his ADC wasn't in lane... or things of the like... and then picks up 2-3 kills/assists at the end of the game so you can't report him for intentionally feeding. (which he was clearly doing!)

I'm tired of players doing things to intentionally incite their OWN TEAMMATES. Things like getting angry with the jungler for not ganking and then coming into his jungle to try to steal camps or buffs from them. OR walking to a lane brush pinging that you are On The Way! and then waiting for them to go in and walking away, or watching them die then walk away. Or a jungler getting angry with a laner and coming to clear their wave so they are pushed to the enemy turret while behind, even after asking them politely not to. ETC.

**I mean guys... there are thousands of examples, I'm sure I can't list them all but I'm also sure every single one of you know exactly what I'm talking about. Going on a losing spree because of trolls and getting dropped from 99lp to 0 or getting demoted or whatever story I'm sure you've all experienced it. It's infuriating and the fact that Riot can not ban these people because they do not record games in any sense is EXTREMELY frustrating. **

It makes for an environment were competitive players suffer for being competitive in a competition based game. It makes no sense. If you are playing ranked it should be expected of you that you want to WIN! And that you want to do everything you can to play as best as you can. If you have a casual attitude in ranked I honestly think that should be punishable in some mild form. It's crazy that you can approach ranked with a casual "meh whatever" type of attitude to me.

Thoughts?

EDIT: (PLEASE READ) I'm not sure why everyone is downvoting but also not leaving a comment.. I feel this is fairly reasonable and thought out. I'm not some random guy raging about a game. I'm talking about the ranked community as a whole. Also, for the record, I've never had any form of punishment. No chat restrictions, no bans... ever.

Are people even reading this? x. x... I feel like you guys are getting to the first sentence or two and then just hitting downvote and splitting. I was looking for a discussion about how games are not recorded for reports. It makes things much harder on Riot when trying to punish players that are toxic in gameplay not just toxic in chat.

So.... the forums just reflect the typical community huh? I mean geez... I come here with a post on a legit issue and no one replies just downvotes and ignores it. Sad. I'll remember not to bother next time.

Gave you an upvote, buddy! I think your argument is very reasonable since I'm experiencing just this, I was on my B3 promos and since then I have only gotten 2 or 3 wins.. 0 LP bronze 4, I know you might say because of my low elo that it's my fault but really, I think it's only partially because I don't want to get cocky. Out of all my recent losses, only one had teamwork, there was one match where my team was starting to get Baron when enemies all respawned, despite me telling them not to. Ended up giving them a free baron and a match (though when they weren't there I accidentally dashed outta the pit, came back though xD) Edit: Just lost another match, demoted to B5.. -_- I had a LeBlanc in my team that, for every single kill I got, she said ks and pinged me like crazy. She was flaming, calling us noobs, she fed on purpose A LOT, she went afk for like 5 mins and her final stats were 3/14. It was 31v46 kills, so if not for her, we would have won. FML
