So here's a thought...

The game is constantly being re-balanced with champions being nerfed and buffed every new patch. I keep hearing that in an older season (I think season 3) the game was much better in terms of balance and therefore more strategic and overall more fun. Even so there were still balance changes in the future and following this trend we've come to the mess of the current season where balance appears to be completely thrown out of the window and most games now end up as one-sided stomps.

Apparently Riot doesn't make balance changes only when champions are truly overpowered/underpowered but also for the sake of keeping the game 'fresh' regardless if in doing so they deviate away from the formula that made the game fun in the first place.

I ask you then, since we can never achieve what we call 'perfect balance'... wouldn't you prefer the game to be changed in a way so that we can reach a meta where at least the majority can agree that the game is 'fun' overall even if balance is still somewhat imperfect and just leave it there?

According to http://lolalytics.com there were about 15 million ranked games played in the last 7 days. https://i.gyazo.com/0a45e87f4173e7c18ad8f38f92a3549e.png There wouldn't be so many games played if the game was unfun to play. It is a minority that says the game is unfun etc. because you can never make everyone happy. There will always be some people that disagree with a certain change while most people do not even mind the change. League of legends is still fun to play. The meta doesn't suit everyone, but there are still a bunch of people that like the current meta, even more than past seasons.

the game isn't anywhere near as imbalanced as people pretend it is, and it's impossible to ever achieve perfect balance when you have 134+ unique champions and dozens of combinations of items, runes, masteries, and summoner spells. The fact that most champions are within 2-3% of a 50% winrate is a feat in its own. Unpopular opinion, but I commend the balance team for the work they've done over the years. There will always be a meta in every game, and that's unavoidable. They've certainly made some mistakes, but overall, they've done a good job. Also I find the game to still be pretty dang fun. People don't typically voice their opinions on a subject when it's favorable or they're having fun. The vocal minority are the ones complaining about the game, and they're just that, a minority.

Perfect balance could be achieved if Riot didn't insist on releasing new champions every 2 minutes
