Yasuo ...it would be a shame if someone were to... BLOCK IT!

uses Windwall

Seriously... is there anything that gust of wind thingy can't block? (besides turret shots, Lux's ultimate and a bunch of other stuff I'm too bored to list)

Nerf Yasuo please 2017

:P

Passive. Laugh a lot.

its quite funny since her ult isnt a projectile, its a wave. These are vastly different in terms of concept and science. Waves are never classified as projectiles in science. They are similar to laser beams which ARENT blocked by the windwall.

I know Nami's ult isnt a radio wave, BUT it still shouldnt be blocked, its liquid water for pete's sakes.

ALSO that should be a skin idea. DJ Nami, where her ult is a radio wave and her Q bubbles are bass drops.

It is a projectile in terms of game mechanics, and that's all that really matters in this context.

True but still XAurelion has a point. There are some things which the windwall shouldn't block for the sake of even a little realism (even if it is League of Legends we're talking about) :P

windwall can remove a existed windwall.

Windwall is coded as a projectile

Taizuki1 votes

It removes Kats daggers that are landed on the ground too for no reason. Riot games definition of projectile - "Anything that moves, or sits on the ground and doesnt move."

Hauling Ashe1 votes

Wait, really? Kata is my mid lane main, and I've never encountered this versus a Yasuo. I'm not saying I don't believe you, but is there a video of this I can see?

I think it's quite odd that the waves suddenly stop when Nami's ult touches Wind Wall........

Targon1 votes

Yasuo's windwall doesn't block Xerath's Q, W, or R... but good luck landing them when Yasuo's dashing around every half second haha xP.

So you've ulted when Yasuo's windwall was up? Not very smart.

Should have baited it.

I don't have Nami though I did notice Nami's ult get blocked by the windwall when others used it. And no I didn't use the ult when it was on, this isn't a thread I made out of frustration of something bad that happened to me :P

It's just a discussion :)

I think those ultra-wide spells (actually can't think of any others right now) should be split into components like ashe's w, where only part of them would get blocked.

Son, I'd like to take you out back and stop the sides of your kneecaps out.

The fact that it blocks my E as Velkoz even though it spawns BEHIND the wall, it's blocked, complete bs

vodrio122 votes

it doesn't. vel koz spits his e but its difficult to see.

Bloodhawk951 votes

I dont like that if windwall touches 1% of nami ultimate, the whole wave is gone

6Sfool1 votes

Half of vel'koz's kit ignores or works around windwall. Unfortunately that doesn't stop Yasou from shitting on him.

VoraciousX1 votes

The only thing I really hate about Yasuo's wind wall is the fact that even after practically being hit, he can cast wind wall and it's like a free pass. An attack can visually hit him, but because he wind walled he's totally fine.

It's funny how everyone compla-I mean point how ridiculous it is for Windwall to block Nami's ult, yet no one seems to say shit about Braum doing the same thing. Just saying I find it funny.

Dryditch2 votes

Braum has consequences for his shit, though. He still either takes damage or is affected by the projectile. It's why you really don't want to play Braum against vayne or Jinx.

50000000000000001 votes

I get Vayne, but why not Jinx specifically?

Dispairado1 votes

Braum can block Jinx's ultimate with his ability but it's not as easy or guaranteed to succeed as Yasuo's windwall. Also, from personal experience, most of the time I played against Braum with Jinx I mostly got kills from him.

Dryditch3 votes

Also, see my other comment. Jinx's rockets still explode on impact, and their damage gets dealt regardless.

Dryditch3 votes

Jinx's explosions don't count as projectiles, so even if Braum blocks her rockets, they still do 100% splash damage to everything in their radius, including him.
