Why bleed OP?

Why does Darius have a passive that can do 500+ damage. I mean really, the weakest thing about a champion is supposed to be the passive, yet this guy Darius get a passive that he can hit you 5 times and walk away all la-de-dah and the damage is so intense from the bleed, you die. For a guy who already gets a free ult at rank 3 WITH TRUE DAMAGE, and +20% for each stack of his passive, and 15% armor pen... why give him a passive that does more damage than a fair amount of champions. And why does he get a ult with true damage? What the hell RIOT. You give a guy that more than 50% of the community says is OP a ult that you cant defend against? Can you guys atleast act like you care about over powered champions anymore?

What makes you think that the passive is supposed to be the weakest thing about a champ? I'm not saying that Darius' passive is okay, but if you look at Evelynn, Cassiopeia, Kalista, and the like, their passives are an enormous part of their power.

Katarina passive (voracity) is the only reason she has been viable, EVER.

Those passives are nowhere near weak. In fact, they're all core to their gameplay...

I'm pretty sure that was the point; they were counter-examples to the OP's statement that passives were the weakest part of a champion's kit.

This guy gets it

Also Quinn. Her passive is pretty much what makes her

I realize a passive makes the champion, but it shouldn't be stronger than some abilities

He wins lane and loses the game. Classic lane bully. How to beat him? play anyone that teamfights even slightly well and you win. extreme examples would be malphite gnar or maokai. Jax wins straight up in a 1v1.

Karthus - dies and still get a pentakill. #weakpassive

Some are weak, some are REALLY strong. Being a passive doesn't have much to do with power level of it. It's just power budget, some are more core to champion identity, some are just minor cookies to cover some glaring weaknesses when used well. EG: Xerath - mana management

Bleed can be really annoying. But just like Teemo/Singed/Cassiopeia/Malzahar/...anyone with ignite...,etc,etc, you have to respect the over time damage and don't over-commit to a fight just cause you can initially outtrade them.
