When there's an afk/dc, why no AI?

It just occurred to me even though this has probably been brought up before. If for nothing else then for my benefit I'd love to discuss if people think it's a good/bad idea to have a bot play for an afk/dc and also if there are issues I havent thought of which would prevent a system like this from being put in place.

I think I prefer the afk to just stay away from enemies and stay safe at pool & continue getting experiences if he ever comes back, instead of letting the AI feeding off all the free unnecessary noobish deaths. AI bots aren't very smart, and lots of people already got used to how a bot reacts in Co-op vs AI mode.

A feeder is worse for your team than an AFK player. Neither contributes to your team, but the Feeder contributes to the enemy team. Bots are barely one step above "intentional feeder", especially when people know the flaws in them.
