just lower your expectations to 0, and freeze the lane as best as you can. you're not getting any kills, and you'll probably end up being zoned by a gangplank support.

Bard plays radically different from your typical Blitz thresh or leona meaning you don't go balls hard and dive all the god damn time. he fills a very niche role and can be helpful to the whole team. Players just haven't adjusted to the new mechanics, and he goes Where No Champion Has Gone Before. I'm sorry but when you pick Draven or Varus after your support locks bard you're a fucking moron.

Bard is just a situational pick, and people haven't realized that yet.

Generally if someone picks Bard, the AD carry should pick someone with good lane safety when alone like Caitlyn Ezreal

And as said above, if you pick a horribly unsafe AD carry when Bard was locked in, you deserve to lose lane.

Also the major difference between a good and bad Bard player is simple. GOOD BARD PLAYERS KNOW WHEN ITS GOOD TO PICK HIM. Bad ones pick him into whatever situation and leaves your KogMaw to 1v2 against their Thresh Draven combo.
