Serious question. I have no idea what do do against someone that plays him with any kind of skill.
Banning, or picking myself him are unacceptable responses. I want to know what strategy to use against someone that can escape/engage knockup, can poke me under my turret, can disengage with wall, does TONS of damage and that can farm insanely well if I just play the farm game.

Late game his counterplay is don't let him get to late game.

He is horribly weak earlygame too. And blinks destroy him.
Also, anyone that can outrange him or sustain his poke can lane against him and beat it.
MLDzXnRRR1 votesdon't get near him. He is weak only to Ziggs and Xerath. Good Azir can beat assasin, because they need to poke him, before going for kill and if you avoid this, you are stronger. His lategame is kind of better than Heime/Kayle (he is combination of them)

Corki/Ezreal mid is another choice.

Soldiers have a mediocre mana cost and cd, the Q has higher mana and cd, and he's halfway oom if he blows E. Watch his casts and note his cooldowns: a great time to go in is after he uses Q. If he W+E's to get out, back off, you just won that trade just because of how much mana he had to blow.
Keep making him waste mana early, instead of going for kills. The farm and xp he loses from having to go B devastatingly delays his mid and late game.
