You decided to play Shyvana, a champion you have no games with in your past 100 games, in your ranked game and you happened to go against a master yi one trick. You ended 3/12/6.

I don't think Yi is the problem here.

Actually here's the thing, I took over Shyvana from my friend and farmed, didn't gank till 6. I got a hydra then began working into my jungle. I play Warwick, and had that champion not been banned, we would've been fine, but he was. Wait here's the best part, because I had a bad score playing into a Yi and you're a slightly higher rank than I you'll receive the upvotes despite you not being in our game. That's the biggest problem in this community. Instead of ANYBODY literally saying, "Hm maybe you should've tried this or that approach." or "Maybe the damage could be reduced from 40% to maybe 30%" you go straight for the "lol you did bad you're trash maybe Yi isn't the problem." It's even more funny because THIS shit is coming from a Yi player who genuinely believes the CHAMPION IS ACTUALLY BALANCED! Even I'm not that fucking naive. When I play Warwick, I know the life steal is bullshit, I know for a fact it is. Could it be tweaked? Yeah probably.

Literally I also don't give a shit if it's a "roast" or not. I came here to express my DISTASTE for a champion that DID NOT NEED A 40% BUFF when we already have to waste bans on champions like Zoe for fucking example.

She has no CC and builds tanky. If yi get slightly fed she loses.

lol Of course not because hes 450 BE so every time these monkeys throw a fit and get banned it only takes them .5 seconds to make another and main Yi since they're not gonna waste money or time on grinding for any other champion. I literally do not give a single shit whether or not they agree because the white knights are going to come in bitching about how he's balanced and how his 40% buff was justified. If somebody can actually EXPLAIN how it's important to his kit then I'll actually ACKNOWLEDGE it and say, oh maybe he does need it.

Like a lot of things in the game, he won't be changed so better start learning to play against him.

Before the buff, didn't he need only 3 items to be just as useful as he is now with less damage? (I'm genuinely asking I'm not being sarcastic)

you didn't even build armor until 22 minutes in, yi had tabi's at 15. mby get some defensive items when you're behind?

Just to note, with his E, Master Yi can bypass armor completely. Armor is still efficient against the physical portion of his damage, but Master Yi doesn't have difficulty cutting through tanks most of time.

The best way to deal with Yi is to CC him, honestly. And burst him down before he is able to deal any damage. If Master Yi is building crit and doesn't have any percentage damage, the best thing you can do is build HP. Randuin's Omen will be extremely handy, since it reduces the crit damage in addition to giving HP to whitstand his true damage, despite the attack speed reduction being useless against Yi.

Either that or you pick a champion that can duel Yi. Very few champions can do that however, but they do exist. Jax is an example.
