The fact that assassins can be nerfed the very second they have a meta for them, but then Zone Control poke mages can still 1 shot kill me because of a single mistake, without having to put themselves at risk since they are ranged is honestly a joke. Yea let's keep nerfing the Domination tree and Duskblade while mages with the Sorcery tree get to run rampant 1 shotting people with hard CC and range. let's enable mages to keep Flat Pen in the items but remove Flat armor pen because it made assassin's too strong in the mid to late game. Let's nerf Dark harvest because since every other rune has been gutted in the domination tree, it's the only rune enabling assassins to even be viable if they are Leblanc. At this point, please just remove assassin's. It's extremely clear that balancing for them is completely unmanageable for a Indie company like Riot Games. I'd rather the class be completely removed then have it reworked, gutted, and then slowly reverted or reworked again, only for us to end up with abominations like Akali or Leblanc.

EDIT:Or what about the fact that the resolve tree still breaks the game? Theres only 2 runes inside the tree that are even useful (bone plating and Chrysalis) and all they do is ruin the interaction of laning phase with free damage reduction and free stats. Why can a Poppy rush sunfire and still 100-0 a carry who has to build damage?

Why can Tahm Kench literally get any item that says +HP on it and 1v1 anyone in the game?

Why are AD assassins the ONLY targets when damage is too high?

The difference is that Mages generally have longer c/d than assassins with alot of skill shots. Even if a mage lands everything they have if they dont kill you they die. They dont have ways to escape. I dont find someone carrying a game on Fizz or zed to be hard at all. Everything is all rewards with very little risk. When you play vs a mage at no point do you feel like everything you do is hopeless, well unless your master YI trying to kill Annie. All the assasins are oppressive as hell when they have a lead, hell even shut down they have all the tools to win 1v1s or pick off people. Its not fun to play against someone that can only lose if they mess up. When you catch out a mage they die, assassins are literally unkillable to some matchups. Assassins themselves should not be in a MOBA, they dont promote tactical play or even enjoyable game play for anyone but the assassin.

There's a difference between Orianna somehow getting such a massive lead that she hits you with everything to 1 shot you, and a Talon buying a tiamat, killing you in 1 rotation from Invis and jumping over walls and literally escaping hyper mobile champions himself...
