Yasuo's Windwall vs Skarner Ult

I play jungle a lot recently and I've noticed that my ult is blocked by Yasuo's Windwall. Is that supposed to happen or is it a bug? I would include a video but I don't record my games and I haven't yet found a video showcasing the ult getting blocked. It happens during the cast time, before the ult actually effects the Yasuo
