Can I stop being matched vs 5 mans as a solo player?

Literally just had back to back games against the same 5 man, without a 5 man on my side, and in one of the games we were actually 5 solo's, needless to say the match was extremely one sided due to the sheer level of communication they had. This is why there's a solo/duo and a flex queue, make the 5 mans wait longer or make the solos wait longer, ANYONE just so this doesn't happen again. Doesnt feel good to lose a chunk of lp to the same 5 man just because matchmaking decided to screw me over

Your title is very misleading. If it was in flex q, right off the bat that mode was DESIGNED for premades. Don't like it? Get friends to play with your or play solo. But no, Riot shouldn't water down a match because you decided to play solo in a premade match

am I missing something? why play flex if you're not going for a 5 man? Isn't that the purpose of flex?

2 days ago I had 2 back to back 1v5's followed by a load screen error which auto-deranked me because the match didn't load (internet was fine)

The two 1v5's literally BOTH got to 10/35 scores. What's funny is, in both, I was literally my entire team.
