In this game here: http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2312951524/212289088 I was able to go 10/1 with Kog'Maw with decent CS (180 @ 30 minutes) but I got an A+. I've really been trying to get S ranks on him so I can get level 7 on my Koggy. What would I need to improve on in order to push myself over the A+ line into the S rank range?

CerealBoxOfDoom2 votesyou had 180 cs at 30 minutes. Considering the score at the end was 32 to 9 that's pretty bad for an adc. You should be able to get something like 100-130cs by 15 minutes.
Your match lasted a really long time and that probably hurt your score.

CerealBoxOfDoom1 votesprobably not, but really for 30 minutes your cs was more than not good. It was bad and stuff. I guess it could be worse but really your match probably shouldn't have lasted 30 minutes.

Pretty much, remember you're being compared to all elos, so KDA's are gonna be relatively similar (unless you play someone super snowbally and is thus either an amazing KDA or terrible one), so cs is the biggest difference. Those in plat+ are gonna have a lot better than you, you gotta have superb cs (aka get carried while farming) or play support :P
