Did the "mage patch" help?

Hi all,

So I'm curious. I called out the fact 8.14 had far more AD changes then mage despite being a "Mage Patch" and received a fair amount of "Give it time! You'll see!" replies. As I don't really play anymore (I'm waiting for things to start being balanced and something to be done about the state of Malzahar) I was wondering how much effect people think the patch had on the "meta."

Are mages now much better off, or is it the same hypermobile hypercarries ruling the map?

Give me your thoughts below.

Some came out stronger and some came out weaker. I think the biggest problem with it is the ones that came out weaker, came out much more weaker then intended. Theres are few that are slated to get buffed in 8.15 i believe.

So overall would you say it helped balance midlane? Are we seeing more mages being viable in the game, or is it the same names as before?
