My opinion on balancing the game around pro's
I get why the game is balanced around proer players, seeing as there are million dollar rewards in the turnaments. But I don't see how nerfing a character that dominates in lower skill levels would affect them whatsoever. Yes, it does remove a few characters from high level competitive play; but that would barely make any difference. Buffing a high-skill character to balance in lower levels is of course negative, since it would make turnaments a little unfair. But still, as said, nerfing a character that dominates in bronze (etc) would make next to no difference. Much like nerfing a high-skill champion would make next to no difference in lower levels. Since it just means they have less options in competitive play, but there will always be ways to play casually, in which is all about fun.
A game is supposed to be as fun as possible for everyone, but when the majority of the community gets absolutely stomped, and can never in the history of time enjoy the game as long as a champ, let's say Katarina, exicsts. It's a bad, unenjoyable, game.
And yes I do know the game is mildly balanced around lower skill levels, but that is so mild it doesn't even make a difference.
