Because there have been several very shady occasions that this seems the case in which at a key point in the game 3 or more people will suddenly get high lag or straight up dc for 5 minutes even if every other game they have had no lag. One person said that the enemy team was sending junk info to the riot servers to overload them slowing our ping? So is this a thing?

The Deckowner1 votesit's call deophacking, there are two types, one is directly attack the league server by sending a shitload of package there causing everyone to dc, the other is send the package to a specific IP address. I know people can do it, but drop hacking a bunch of IP address isn't that easy, you might be just unlucky.

Irelia Bot1 votesIF you have been playign long enough you will remember the lizard people who Ddos'd the server a couple times. Not toe only people but the ones that first came to my mind.
There was also a player who I think Wookie Cookie or lyte pubically smited on the boards by the name of Iseestars or something like that. Only giving the name becasue Riot already did the public smiting of them.
It does happen but it is not common and those who use it too much are often perma banned on the spot.
