can we add some more levels before you can play ranked?

not a terrible, angry rant here but the experience of players going into ranked right at lvl 30 is lacking. played 2 matches today where I had to explain the kit and combos of to my own adc. maybe up the level for ranked to ~35 to give people more of a chance of seeing different champs, team comps, and get a good grasp on the rigmarole. grandfather in people who have already received a ranking and you're good to go.

just an idea, and it's not like riot gives a hoot beyond pro play. if my idea is derp as hell suggest your own idea, or (politely mind you...) defend the current "30 and good" system.

Most people will be bad no matter what when they first start ranked, just as they were when they first started normals. Playing norms until you get to 30 isn't a real representation of how to effectively play, and win games in ranked. This is especially true if you are getting roflstomped by smurfs 50% of the time or you have people playing whatever they want/not caring because it's norms.

I just don't think increasing the level cap will do anything other than make it take longer to get to max level. Also, will have to consider masteries and runes, more levels = more masteries and runes. Do we simply add 5 more? or make the trees longer? or make more trees? We can't just do 5 because runes wouldn't be equal and balanced. A lot of things to consider with 5 more mastery points and 5 more runes.

lol, no. people who dive straight into ranked are going to be bad no matter how many levels there are. they also just halved the experience required for ranked and it was like that before anyway
