That's the nature of mechanics in LoL.
If you want to out-tank everything there's always pesky things like true damage and %HP damage.
If you want to out-range everything there's gap-closers.
If you want to evade everything with gap-closers there's always point-click skills.
If you want to strike everything with point-click skills there's brush, stealth, and fog of war.
If you want to duck out of fights with stealth, brush, and fog-of-war there's long ranged skillshots.
If you want to drain-tank targets there's 100%->0% burst to ruin your day.
If you want to OHKO someone there's always pesky things like invulnerability, wind-wall, spell shields, clones, and other short duration 100% damage-block skills.
If you want to momentairly turn invulnerable silences and a wide range of hard CC can disable such effects when they're needed the most.
Nothing works flawlessly 100% of the time, everything generally fallows a rock-paper-scissors dynamic.
Otherwise LoL wouldn't be very dynamic.
