Why the hell am I getting unranked people on my team? People who've never played ranked get put onto my team, and I'm suppose to play a game versus people that are in a higher elo than me? HOW DOES THIS EVEN FUCKING WORK!? RIOT FIX YOUR BROKEN FUCKING QUEUE SYSTEM!
I really hate it when people randomly spout that the systems in league are broken just because they don't know how it works. The "Unranked" player is most likely doing their provisionals and their MMR is on the same level as yours. As for the higher elo players, that just means their MMR has most likely dropped so that they're at your MMR level.
I'm pretty sure it's based on MMR
Thier MMR is based on the MMR you have now. The ranking is trying to determine where the unranking players would rank in.
