Sometimes i feel like the boards is just... ¯\_| ಠ ∧ ಠ |_/¯
While trying to not offend anyone, i must say some of you have a really backwards picture of balance.
I regularly descend into the depths of gameplay and balances "new" section, and what i usually see scares me.
First and foremost, the majority of users have a crappy game against X champ. (Usually Annie, Riven or literally anything)
The next step is going onto the gameplay & balance and writing a thread without any invested time or thought which usually is a "nerf this pls" kind of thread.
Usually these threads get lost and hopefully never come back, but there are some, quite rare though, that get to the front page.
Guys, don't be salty over losing a single game.
No, Riven is not op.
No, Irelia is not op.
No, Cho'gath is not op.
No, Annie is... maybe, as a support but not because of the damage, but because of the cc. But even then, it's not overpowered, but stronger than some champions.
No, Ekko is not op. I was rowing in the same boat with you guys, i thought that the release of Ekko is going to be a disaster, and i was in a pleasant surprise when i realize that Ekko is not that gamebreaking. He can go die in a hole though for jumping back 20 kilometres and healing all his health up, but i'm still saying that Ekko is not that strong.
My theory is that as we all know, the majority of players is in silver. (i do not mean to offend anyone, that is a fact.)
And on silver ELO, people usually pick high risk / high reward / high fun champions. It is the division where champions like Pantheon or Tryndamere are still viable. Everything is about snowball because people usually just cannot play safe, they don't focus on the game that much, they wander off into the enemy jungle without an objective in mind, engage when no one is there, etc. So some champions like Riven or Annie get fed, and then what. You cannot blame the champion designers or the balance team, you can only blame yourself. (blaming your team is pointless.)
But that is no problem, i was in silver for a long time too, and you can always improve. However, making a qq thread about X champion isn't going to make you improve, it's going to prove that you are

Taking this way too seriously

Clueless about balance (I've seen Anivia and Garen qq threads)
Allow me to make a thread inside a thread (Inception noise) about Rek'sai as an example.
Hello, people of gameplay & balance. Lately i've been in more and more games with a Rek'sai on the enemy, and i noticed that she is a bit strong.
She can do really easy ganks on immobile or flashless champions with her burrowed E, the tunnel ability. You can put it down and go through it in an instant (altough going through it takes more time than other dashes) and when you are under your opponent, you can unburrow yourself, cc him/her and deal quite a lot of damage with your Queens whrath and Furious bite. I'm only proposing a small change here, but i would be happier and i could play a safer lane with a lot of champions with this change implemented.
After a tunnel is built, rek'sai cannot enter that tunnel for 0.5 seconds.
TADA! Thread done.
Instead of this, all i see is "shit's op, gotta nerf it" instead of thinking it through, finding reasons or anything.
