League of legends is not Multiplayer Fun, but rather a psychology session.

What do these players want? Why are they behaving like that? Could it be the cause of an accident in their younger years? How far can i go with lecturing them to avoid them flipping out? What approach should i have? Should i give off the "i don't even care about what you do" vibe to apply reverse psychology, or just straight up tell him to shut up and play?

In the past 3 years i've seen a lot of people and based off just a couple of chat logs, i can presume what approach would be the most effective. If they make a mistake, should i encourage them to cause more positivity in the team, or tell them what they did wrong so they can improve on that, and not necessarily go on tilt just because i pointed out a mistake?

Of course i behave towards them as their partner and their teammate, but in game i just try to figure out what is the best for the team, and what mindset could get us, not just me, all five of us closer to victory. It's really interesting if you try it out because the usual soloq struggle will become much more interesting, a sort of an experiment of peoples behaviour.

Yea, sometimes you become like a babysitter/psychologist for some players on your team and have to do so to win.

I'm a player that finds himself muting agressors instantly or the team completely just for my own sake; I have to play with focus if I am serious about playing well to win.

Pings are the most effective communication for simplicity. Players usually listen to pings.

I have found that the most effective solution to problems that players exhibit in-game is to destroy the enemy Nexus. It seems to solve most immediate problems while also benefiting both myself and my teammates.

I don't know, man. I don't know....

Enemies quickly approaching on a lone turret, I'm the only one close enough to defend in time...team frantically pinging it, I rush over, I'm hugging tower and trying to cc/damage squishiest or most important target, I get killed under turret (at the time it was at full or near-full health) and then ALL CAPS RAGED AT for "WHY?".

Don't ping 'assist' if you don't want assistance there.

Well, that's up to you. For me, I don't bother encouraging people any more. I just get flamed and insulted back. Suggest a strategy? Don't expect anyone to follow you. Rare are those who work as a team in team games. Only the pros seem to work together that way.

This is me right now .__. I've had a frustrating week, went to arizona to visit in laws I didn't care about visiting, I've never been on the west coast before so being there unleashed allergy attacks and a dry throat. Come back from Arizona only to still have left over sickness, I've been on a losing streak, I'm way more emotional about a week before my period starts, and the heat isn't working now after the AC just got fixed because hot, cold, hot cold, weather.

Then I had a friend die yesterday morning in a car accident, so I just told my friend I just couldn't play league right now anymore because all of that combine is going to get my account chat restricted, so I just had to set it down and go play minecraft instead.

But I don't expect other league players to keep a random summoner in their mind, nor do I expect sympathy, or even consideration, I just gotta know my limits and know when to not play.

One of the best feelings ever is getting another adult who's polite, like-minded and nice in game and even if you have a losing team you both are just watching things unravel and then add eachother post game to have a laugh about what just happened

What do you expect? Riot Games conducts psychological experiments on their players and have been doing so for years.

They got Thorin fired from his job. They're trying to affect Richard Lewis' ability to make content which affects his income. They cover up any evidence of anything negative about their company. While at the same time conducting illegal experiments on how to control people.

sounds to me like you're just a bitch trying to act like you're not. i see false peacemakers like you all the time. they act like they're all nice trying to intervene then they start talking shit too. if you really care about the psychology of this game the listen to this. most people in this game don't play it to WIN. they play it to feel good. winning is secondary. they don't want to hear you criticize them. if you really want a peaceful game, then don't say anything other than jerk their dick when they do something good. i'm pretty sure that's not what you really want though. you want to feel good too and so you want to criticize and release the frustration they are causing with their bad play.

Do you think having players be split up among not just ranks but iq, maybe even age, would help improve the league community interactions as to promote healthy gameplay and actual intense and fun matches that result in both teams saying gg with a good feeling in their chest despite the outcome?

Well i just mute them at the first insult and tell them they're reported and muted for it. Usually works.
