Why some Kog skins are pay2win or pay2lose
Kog'maw's skins are pay to win AND pay to lose. Hear me out on this. As someone whos been playing Kog for 6 years now, i know the animations and the sounds for all his skins like the back of my hand. And one thing I have to say is that there's good audio cues on lion dance and hextech (sometimes battlecast depending on who you ask) for when you can cancel your auto animation without canceling your auto (aka orb walking). for both of these skins its EXTREMELY noticeable when kog's w is active, on all his other skins except pug'maw (ill get to that in a moment), there is no real good audio cue for when you would be able to cancel your auto animation, now i dont think this is intended on riot's part, but when stacking rageblade and using lethal tempo its really useful to listen for this sound and then cancel your auto animation rather than memorizing the timings.
Now pug'maw, since Pug'maw's w is different than any of the other skins, rather than playing his normal auto sound, he barks, however this completely removes the audio cue completely, making it really difficult to judge when you're able to cancel your auto animation without dropping some auto attacks.
Now onto the pay2lose part. If you're going ap kog then you should not go battlecast or hextech, the reason being that there is a VERY visible line where kog ults, compared to the other skins where sometimes enemies will not realize that you've ulted until its too late, this may not seem like much but in teamfights it gives them the chance to dodge or flash away from an ult that otherwise would kill them. alright that's my rant :<
Also i guess monarch kog makes your hitbox seem much bigger than it actually is but that's really minor.
And for jurasic kog its harder to tell when your passive is active but like, thats also kinda minor compared to the line on his ultimate with battlecast and hextech.
