Question about Ranked Restriction

When you're playing your Normal Draft games to work off the restriction on Ranked, does the Matchmaker automatically try to match you with 5-man premade teams? I keep getting completely and utterly demolished in games because I'm with strangers and every team I've come up against has extremely well-coordinated movements.

Just curious. It's also getting really annoying.
