Bravo Riot, bravo. Champion looks amazing. He has 3 passives, but he doesn't seem to be completely OP, has a fun ability, and endless puns that can be made about him.
Plus... southern catfish with a top hat.. nuff said.
New champion is full of win and I think he's awesome.
Should definitely make a statue of him for the store ASAP.

He has 2 damage abilities, both are pretty easy to dodge and are well telegraphed
In order to get that health damage onto the target he has to auto them 3 times and he has very little sticking power
Zavern1 votesAuto or use his Q to hit the enemy and his Q slows so he can stick to the target. I'm not saying that it is extremely overpowered, just that 36% of a target's max hp (of course there is defense reduction) seems high.

You would have to be oblivious as hell, or just not paying attention to see that his passive is being applied and to either CC him, or back off. His abilities are pretty useless since his passive is applied by basic attacks and he needs 3 stacks of it to do anything useful, (Barring the knowledge of if his abilities apply stacks as well, currently unknown to me). So far, he seems to be a sitting fish in stagnant water unless the other team is oblivious.
Zavern1 votesYes I know and that is why it isn't that bad. But it is 36% of your max HP no matter what and 3 stacks is rather easy to get on him with allied help. I've played a few matches with him and rarely failed to devour an enemy.
