I've mostly avoided ranked for 6years. Why do Silver players feed, then rage at you for not feeding?

Serious question. So far what I've seen in silver if your team feeds they rage at you for not joining in. Literally. They go in and die 3v5 then spam ping ? when I walk away from the fight that's already over.

Go to gank, enemy champion clearly sees me coming and backs out, don't waste time and go back to jungling. Silver bot lane rages about "No ganks worthless jungler"

Walk away from a fed Riven and don't turn around when (tr)Ashe steps on a Cait trap in the middle of the lane. "Wtf tank still has full health!"

The most I've ever been raged at is when I have 0-2 deaths and am playing for objectives/ avoiding obviously bad fights. If I have a bad game and die 4-5 times in a close game nobody rages at me. I'm getting screamed at for not dying. What causes this culture? Is there a solution beyond Mute all?

Its because those people don't follow the first and the most important rule of all DotaLike MOBAs - Don't Die. Seriously, at this level people do not really know what matters in the game, they just want to stomp other team and if they cannot, they rage and suicide.

Also, mute blocks only incoming communication through the chat, you still can chat to them things like "warded" or "gj" and pings are not blocked at all, so mute is actually a really good solution, considering how good the ping system is now.

First let's separate silver into three groups; the people who got carried out of bronze, the people who "deserve" gold, and the rest. It looks to me like you're talking about the group who thinks they are good, and that they deserve gold, so a loss must be caused by anything but themselves.

They haven't yet learned that you can give something your all and still come up short. Just mute these people, they have nothing worth while to say.

I laugh at those people saying "i flame because I care about winning". Lol, bumbass, if you care about winning the last thing you should do, and I mean THE LAST THING, is to flame. No matter what your teammates do.

You cannot expect intelligent life beyond high gold and above (it includes me, btw, since I've never reached platinum).

The worst of all of them are those X5 guys. Everytime I am grouped with tier 5 guys (no matter if bronce, silver, gold or plat) I know I'm going to lose in a flame fuckfest.

It blows my mind too dude. You are not alone. Find a good duo partner you can generally carry most games with as a 2v8 situation and roll from there.

Speaking as a silver player it's because everyone seems to think winning is caused by killing the enemy team until they surrender. It's not about getting objectives or destroying the enemy nexus, it's getting the most kills. Dying doesn't matter, as long as you get the kill.

I'm guilty of getting caught up in this mentality as well if the game goes on long enough or I had a bad laning phase, which is why I'm low silver.

This is probably also why the surrender votes start as soon as you hit 20 minutes if your team is behind even slightly in kills.

early laning phase, this isn't the case though. Often enough, its better just to turn around and tell that lane to buy a ward/sweeper, or give it a second and approach the gank a different way. Meanwhile, every second you spend waiting on a gank in a lane, you're losing pressure elsewhere on the map where there might be better opportunities as well as losing out on your farm and the counter jungling you can do. Additionally, rushing into a fight to get a kill over and over again trading 1 for 1 is bad news. While you might create a relative advantage for yourself when compared to the other team's 5 members, the other 4 members of your team end up at a relative disadvantage in all situations. This is how you lose objectives.

When engaging, the obvious question is always "what do we gain from this?" Most people don't ask themselves this question which is why you see people running it down mid when they already have mid inhib but 2 other inhibs are still up.

I'm not QQing about KDA specifically, like a disappointed religious girl who waited for marriage I'm bitching about the D! Its like a suicide cult.

The thing is I'm TRYING to play objectives. I'm trying to gank. I'm constantly looking for an objective to take or a place to apply pressure. My team is usually dying nowhere near an objective. If we get an opening I ping dragon or baron I am ignored in favor of MORE KILLS!!@! They they overstay and throw and rage at me.

"my teammate is not playing good, so if i say to him "kys" or "get cancer" for sure he will play good and carry the game"

People who plays this game are so stupida that they flame during the game, amd waiting till end for avoid intenionally throws to a winnable game.

I think everyone's hitting the nail on the head, KDA-obsessed.

I'm a mere bronze, but I interact with a lot of silvers. They are generally worse than bronzes when it comes to the KDA obsession. There's a lot of crossover in matchmaking (in normals) with silvers and bronzes, so when they're in a game with bronzes they tend to be able to get a lot of kills, and carry the game entirely through better mechanics and gold advantage. When you're in that bubble, objectives must not seem to matter.

Sometimes- I play adc and get a silver support- it's an absolute nightmare. If we haven't gotten a double by level 5 they are piping mad. They'll be cussing me out in chat and ping-spamming me, even though we have lane dominance and dragon and have forced the other lane to back...! OTZ

They expect me to tower-dive, even if we're currently ganked and 2v3, in order to get at least 1 kill before I die- and me dying can often mean losing map or lane control, and definitely means loosing farm. But I guess the plan is to get the assist gold and farm while I'm dead- these guys constantly use carry-supports.

But tbh in that enviroment, when you know the enemy Jinx with 50 health is going to keep chasing you til she dies-- you'd probably have a hard time trying to justify stopping shooting too.

Thing is, if 4 people are doing baron and you know that you're gonna get aced 70% chance if you join, what r u gonna do and try to defend 1v5? It's the better option to join them

its simple silvers are childish, braindead and have a need to find culprit to their mistakes. They could win more and improve their game if they spend less time to tchat
