What's the point in trying to climb in ranks in low elo?

What's the point if even trying when their are so many afkers, feeders, FLAMERS, ect.? I know I don't play well every game and I make mistakes. I don't have decent macro sometimes but at the same time, I know what to do and play better than the majority I get stuck with most games. I know a 100% win rate is unrealistic but at the same time I can't even win half my games regardless of how good or bad I play. Every time I start to win a couple of matches I end up losing 3-5 in a row demolishing any LP or mmr i have left. Almost every game the lane phase goes well for my team except in bot but in the mid to late game my team throw and then start flaming making it so that no one even wants to try anymore. I've tried duo for ranked but for some reason I don't do well at all when I duo. I play better when I go solo but then if I get stuck in lane and not able to roam my team ends up losing. Half the time even I have control of mid lane and roam my team throws in the end. I'm completely frustrated at this point. Idk what else to do. How does anyone escape silver?

P.S. I don't think I'm better than like low gold but I do believe I am better than the average player i get stuck with in silver.

Could be but I feel cursed when it comes to that as when I do duo I don't play as well as i should and can. It's almost like my macro improves slightly but I lose almost all of my mechanics.

You win 60% w/orianna and 62% w/lux. Stick to mid and those two champs. You have a lot of ranked games with a lot of champs, which is a small part of why you're at 50%. Your S6 stats w/Lux after 80 games are quite impressive, why aren't you spamming her? And if lux is banned then most likely Orianna will be available. Just a thought, I hope it improves for you!

Your cs is not above a low silver level. Poor cs = poor gold. Poor gold = poor items. Poor items = poor damage. Poor damage = Losing.

My CS has improved but even at the beginning where most of the stats come from, I out CS'd my opponent often and normally I'm in the top 3 of CS in the match.

Don't compare yourself to your opponents. Compare it to people in the rank you want to be

Well in that case most of my matches at the beginning of the season were only 20-25 minutes long and i still hit close to what higher ranks hit for that length of a match.

EDIT: Other than Ori. my farm with her was crap back then and i dont play her much now.

Your match history begs to differ. Out of your last 20 games, you had ZERO games where you reached 7/min.

I didn't realize that it only happens on my adc and i try not to play that. most of my mid matches i have to spend around teammates that are playing more aa reliant champs and have an easier time farming. b4 10 minutes you're right i shouldn't miss as much however after 10 i normally can't get much cs due to the whole team trying to get it and when it's a good idea to go catch a wave that's pushing in a side lane normally someone else is already do it.

I don't really see the point in ranking up either. Bronze is far more fun than any other elo.

Sorry but I disagree. Bronze is worse for a lot of it but their ego's normally aren't as bad. I think Silver and (from what I've heard) Plat have some of the highest egos.

Silver 5 on the other hand is a different story

However, u have the same chance of getting feeders/afkers on ur team as the enemy team does so if you can carry, ur golden

afks dont happen much in my matches and my bot lane loses and/ or feeds like 9/10 times but it's mostly teammates refusing to work as a team or constant flames that make no one want to play.

The system is designed to keep your mmr right were it is in the low elo's regardless of how it was intended. When you start winning, you are matched against mmr you are trying to prove you belong in while your team pool is filled with lower mmr to keep the match balanced. Unfortunately, the low mmr pool is rife with afkers, feeders, flamers, and other majority (good reason for being such low mmr). I feel like a full MMR reset is the only way to really balance things out again rather than the soft one they keep doing. If nothing else it will prove the system is flawed, or remove all doubt.

Sometimes, the outcome of the game has already been decided in champ select. The team that has stronger champions is more likely to win.

Normally my teams pick in similar power to the opponent. most of the time it is just mid/late game decision making is lacking or people who make a bad call and do bad for it flame the rest of us.
