The Game is incredibly unbalanced, here is what you need to do to fix it

before anyone says anything negative, yes i am fed up with pretty much everything doing insane amounts of damage for no reason and the items i buy not feeling like they are doing anything. Please keep your criticism constructive!

Create a Baseline. What that means is, that you come up with stats that every champion is based around and no champion can have less then said stat. After you've done that you can continue with the second step, which is increasing those stats, based on the roles you assign those champions to. Example: A Champion that is categorized as Fighter/Assassin will do more damage then one that is Categorized as Fighter/Tank, while the latter will have higher resistances and health.

If you have still no idea what i am talking about: Choose any Value for every stat (Health, Mana, Armor, Magic Resist, Movespeed, Health-and Manaregen. etc.) No Champion can have less of a stat then your base value. Now you apply either a % or a flat increase on those stats, or a mix of both, for each role.

Once you have done that, repeat it, just this time ability based.

  • How much total flat damage do you want a champion to deal for each role without scaling? (All 4 Abilities combined)
  • how much total flat damage do you want a champion to deal with the scaling only at [AD/AP] Value? (All 4 Abilities combined)
  • how much total scaling should a champion have? (Ex: 300% split among 4 abilities)

I think you get the idea.

I genuinely hope that anyone can learn from it, even if its not Riot. I may have forgotten a thing here or there, if that should be the case, please let me know in a constructive manner.
