Yasuo windwall has the impact of an ultimate ability!

[Alot of frustration speaks out of me, so be prepared. Also, please read first before you judge].

As the title says, his windwall is too strong to be just a normal ability and it should be an ultimate ability in my opinion. I mean, he can basically put his windwall down in a teamfight and make the adc of your team useless, because your adc has no chance to do any damage. If you go to far into the fight where you can actually damage someone, you die. If you don't go further into the fight, you still die after the fight is over because your team had no damage.

Did you know that the windwall also can block the Thresh lantern, even if its not a projectile at all? A few days ago, or yesterday was it i believe, i read a post about how normal abilities should not be able to negate ultimate abilities and i completely agree on that. Some would maybe think about the Braum E, but in that case atleast he takes all the damage and cc, yasuo can just stand inside his windwall and be completely immune to every kind of projectile, semi projectile or autoattack.

The Windwall should just not be able to block ultimate abilities or atleast should have some kind of healthbar / limit to how much it can block. Increasing the cooldown would not help at all, since the mechanic as a whole is the problem. Just think about it for a second, how do you counterplay the yasuo windwall as an adc (miss fortune) in the middle of a teamfight?

Greetings. ~

E: If i would be some high ELO Yasuo main, suddenly alot of people would agree with me..

You will get downvoted because there's a ton of Yasuo mains.

But his kit is definitely overloaded, and the wind wall is broken. He and his team can literally stand in it and there isn't jack you can do about it, Then when it's finally down - it's right back up again, all while spamming whirlwinds and ulting every one. His crit passive should be looked at as well.

Imagine if Azir's ultimate had a 20 second CD.

That is an ability with ultimate-level power. If Yasuo's wall was on even a 60 second CD, it would be awful to use.

His kit is terribly overloaded.. his windwall needs to be on a longer cd, as well as his ultimate. right now, a yas has the ability to three shot really any one that's not a tank, has like a 10 second cd on his wall and can ult like every 20 seconds(which is ridiculous). sure the ult takes a knock up, but there's SO MANY in the game right now. hell, you can have a team of just knock ups for yas and it be 100% competitive.. It doesn't even have to knock them up completely, just disrupt them.. Also, yas's can almost never die with bloodlust/grasp of the undying and of course Maw's super lifesteal ...

Then you realize his ultimate ability has a small window of usage and doesn't bring on the table anything if he doesn't stack on the enemies hit.

This thread shows that the prejudices about yasuo mains are 90% valid.

No, it's just that Riot needs to redefine what a "projectile" is. Right now, it's any attack that moves.

Actually wind wall isn't that effective. B/c if the enemy is smart they will counterpick an assassin (Zed, Kat, Akali) or someone like Malzahar without any projectiles.

As a player with level 5 mastery with Yasuo, I can see what you mean, but to be honest, the description is a little over-exaggerated. Yasuo cannot make the ADC useless in a teamfight just through his windwall; the duration of the windwall plus the high cooldown is sure of that. If you can't do anything as an ADC when a Yasuo puts down his windwall, that's your fault; you can move. Wait for a Yasuo to use it, THEN ult. Also, your E doesn't get blocked by the windwall, so that is another good way. All in all, it isn't that much of a problem.

in my elo adcs dont stand still when yasuo puts down his windwall and keep attacking targets behind it,

dont play in bronze then your problem with adcs beeing useless vs yasuo is solved
