Sustain on mid-late game champs QQ thread

Do champs who don't use health as resources need to have some sort of constant SV/LS builtin AND scale super well mid-late game? I'm referring to Akali AND Nasus one feasts on champions, the other feasts on minions. Akali slams her keyboard to clear a wave and gets half hp back. the only other item assisting her trusty item 3146 Meanwhile Nasus Q clears a wave and gets half hp back... except his max hp is 3000+. He did this with item 3065 "Don't feed akali!"/"Don't let nasus free farm" you say? akali's R and natural burst makes it pretty hard to not have her get fed... aoe armor reduction makes last hitting under tower pretty damn easy. AS slow makes your pokes tickle, and if he ever gets tired of your pokes, he just runs away while you wobbles towards him with your 10MS Why can't we have their sustain be a fixed amount? like Ahri? (akali's scale with AD and nasus' scales infinitely with his Q) If we can't do that. At least do the following: For akali take out that AD scaling, she doesn't need free SCALING stats. For nasus remove this: "As with most on-hit physical damage, the bonus damage from Siphoning Strike will apply life steal." Make his Q an exception pls. Or at the very least make 20-30% of the bonus apply.

Nasus is not exactly easy to counter if you get a standard top lane and in solo queue. But in team situations he is easily get rid off if you focus his gank a little during his early game.

Or get pretty much any ranged top then he is instantly dead.

If he is top.

I agree with most of this but however, with a Nasus top he will just want to free farm. You force team fights making him choose, farm or losing an objective. It is very easy to get objectives against a Nasus because all they want to do is farm. With Akali playing really aggressively pre-6 against her can set her behind. Once she is 6 you play passively. But most of the time people are greedy for CS so they run in on her to get 15 gold from 1 minion then die. Her team fighting is not the best if she isn't fed. She will end up using 2-3 ult charges on 1 player if you didn't feed her leaving her immobile until she gets an assist or a kill, that's when you kill her. And sweepers stops her from escaping with her shroud. The akali will also try and clear the lane and gank, you do the same. Akali's only seem OP if you let her do what she wants. Don't let her do what she wants. If she wants to kill you then you play passive. If she wants to gank then you counter gank, don't sit mid last hitting when she is charging bottom for a double.
