I feel like adaptive stats were in response to people complaining about how easy CDR was to acquire on AP items. Like you're not supposed to aim to pass the threshold, but if you do, here you go, something you can actually use.

Don't think of it as: item 3071 .

Think of it as giving you a little more leeway in item choices. Before you got less out of certain item combinations because you spent money on wasted stats, now you actually get something out of it. Which might also give riot more options in adding cooldown to more items.

The rune gives you 10% CDR and bonus adaptive force. It's a very good rune any way you look at it.

Black Cleaver is already a stat efficient item so it's a good way to utilize the rune but not the only way.

Its worth stacking maybe 2 black cleavers. The point of stacking them is because you can get up too 400+ ad while having 4k health.

It's less the 60 AD you obtain, which is still a lot for just a rune by the way, but the amount of AD you get while also getting other beneficial stats that you wouldn't normally have while having that much AD. A Zed doesn't typically have 4000 Health and 500 AD. Typically he would have almost half that health in order to obtain such AD.
