All of the Ekko complaints are from people who can't play against him

Seriously you think this champion is that much op? It's not as nearly as broken as everyone says. All the complaints comes from the fact that people can't play aginst him. In fact he is very fragile and easly killable with some coordination and some brain.

In lane all you have to do do be safe is 2 things: •Watch out for his W zone (wich is heavily delayed anyway) • Avoid 3 stacks of his passive (that basically means avoid double damage from his Q, so he cant get the third stacks with his E) • Watch out for his clone

That's it.

A safe midlaner with long range can shut down ekko pretty heavily if you ask me in lane, in act he is not your typical assassin. To fully assasinate someone he nees the right setup (the stun from w, 2 stacks).

Can you tell me, how in the name of humanity all of this is broken? There are champions like LeBlanc that can oneshot you with 3 spells, While ekko need to have a much more complciated setup to do so, and yet tons of people complaints about him.

if you use brain you can shut him down hard, and you'll see he is not as nearly as broken as people thinks

People keep talking about the W zone like you have the full time to dodge it - you don't. Well, not against a good Ekko, that is. You aren't guaranteed vision of the batter or setup, which is the long delay in the spell. The part you can see is the 0.5s delay from when the circle appears on the ground til when the dome is formed. That's not much time at all.

Also, every single imbalanced champ ever released has had a bad matchup. Pointing out that Ekko has one doesn't make him anymore balanced than those imbalanced champs were.

Lastly, if you're gonna make the "you must be bad if you think this champion is too strong" argument, then I'll make the "you must be bad if you can't dominate with this champ" counter. Neither one is backed up by any substance, but I just wanted to show that it works both ways.

I have never once gotten caught by an Ekko W/Stun. I've played him, so I understand how it works, and I'm smart enough to have a good idea where he wants to catch me when I see him cast it.

And if he is roaming. I am smart enough to either have wards up, or stay moving and be cautios till I now where he is.

But I suppose asking people to just learn to play against him is asking a bit much

I've played several Ekko games since his release, so I feel confident in saying that adding a bit of time to the dodging window of his W wouldn't be a bad idea.

He is broken because of his safety, and because of all the shit shoved into his kit, akin to Kalista's kit. For example, his "oops" button is even better than Kali's, because he can use it on himself, Kali can only save her support. Why does his W have a passive? It's already a VERY strong defensive ability, Riot just felt the need to pile more stuff into it.

Ekko takes plenty of skill and setup, HOWEVER that is not an excuse for him to be totally broken. It just means that when players get really good at him, there's nothing to be done. This champion needs nerfing, there's no way around it.

Had one of those complainers with me in a game yesterday. It was miserable. He spent more time complaining about Ekko than actually playing the game. It's like "of course he can one shot you, you fed him 6 kills in lane phase because you played dumb on an immobile champion"

You are telling me that 3 sec delayed stun is stun on demand, and that a clone that you can see where he goes is unavoidable?... lol

coordination...I don't think most pub players can even spell that word xD much less use it

public games aren't LCS and even then, the guy would freight train because of how often team fights just end with them chasing the team

if the only people left were a brand and ekko, they could probably 2v5 just because of their crazy damage ratios, not to mention ekko has long ranged pokes with high damage ratios

he's an assassin, a mage, and a fighter all rolled into one with 3 escapes and a reset button for when he does something stupid

so long as he isn't crowd controlled, he's just going to stomp

The 3 second delay on Ekko's W isn't there to provide opportunities for the opponent to dodge it. It's there to make it harder for Ekko to land it in the first place. If you're facing an Ekko and he's consistently landing his stun on you, it's because your movement patterns are incredibly predictable, and the Ekko player is smart enough to take advantage of that.

I can only imagine that the people complaining about Ekko's stun haven't played Ekko themselves yet, and don't know just how hard it is to proc.

He doesn't NEED the stun to kill someone. I dont think Ekko is AS OP as people say though.
