Being 3 levels behind as a jungler VS being 2 levels behind as a second support going top lane.

When the day comes that sharing XP by playing as a second support on the top lane creates more pressure and gives the same or better XP than jungling.

Junglers are already 2 levels behind solo laners. But if Riot goes through with their promise to further reduce jungle XP, I'm a bit concerned. I see visions of a meta that consists of nothing but chain ganking assassin junglers. Or worse, a meta of a second support going top lane.

Idk about a 2nd support toplane because then the top laner will also get reduced xp causing 4 players being lower level and 1 being higher level rather than 3 being lower level and 2 being high level.

True, but imagine if you simply go ranged top with a support and enemy laner never gets the chance to farm up and pop off.

Season 10 is going to be an absolute shit show and I cannot believe people are not more outraged.

I didn't say it would be logical. But what happens when the jungler says he's going support for top, and buys support item, and doesn't have smite? It's not like the top laner can do anything about it. And you could report the jungler for days and I guarantee nothing would happen, as long as the jungler wasn't saying anything toxic in chat.

the funniest part about them saying that it's to help top lane's influence is that this further catapults mid as the most powerful lane. They still have the prime roam position, and now they're going to be an even higher level than the bot lane and jungler.

Also dying in lane and having your laner gain a huge level advantage will definitely make your lane much more unappealing to gank, so have fun in Summoner's Rift Island: Season 4.0
