I wish match history would ALWAYS show my grade.

Why do some of the games in match history show your grade, and some don't?

I can see the grade on the end game screen, but after I close that screen, it doesn't always show the grade in the match history tab. These are champs I've played a lot this season, enough that it definitely gave me a grade on every game, it simply doesn't always show it, and I'm not sure why not.

I always thought it only showed good grades (A-S) and hid poor grades.

You must hover your grade after the game ends for it to show on your match history

Wait, is that really how it works!? That's so dumb if that's the case, I always wondered why this was seemingly random.

That's so dumb tho. Why is Riot like this???

I don't think that's how it works because I always hover my grade in post game but it's still not visible on a good chunk of my match history.

You dont have to hover it but wait until it is actually displayed. Sometimes there is a small delay between enter the after game lobby and your grade is shown. And if you leave to early you wont be able to see your grade in match history. Same for xp you have to wait until the circle fill animation is complete.

Good question. Think it has something to do with match length.

Good question. Think it has something to do with match length.

OP's image shows a 20-minute match with no grade, a 22-minute match with a grade, a 25-minute match with no grade, and a 34-minute match with a grade. If there is a relation to match length, I'm not sure what it would be.

nah man that would actually make too much sense you know. it would make riot look like FOR ONCE they actually finished something and didnt just put an alpha test on the live servers that they never touch again. and riot is clearly not wanting to go for the "hey we're trying" way.

It's all part of the amazing client Riot needed us to have so badly. Isn't it amazing?! [slayer-jinx-wink]

It's a bug. Sometimes the grade is lost from match history, not only in the client but also in web browser view. The stats and grade are still retained in Riot computers and contribute to what shows in your Stats tab in the client.

I'll usually take a screen shot of the postgame screen after notable matches. Sometimes the grades from those grades are lost from History, and I can still refer to the screen shot.
