Fizz Adjustments Buff or Nerf?

K Please correct me if I'm wrong here... but....

Old Fizz: Q: 10/40/70/100/130 (+60% Ability Power) magic damage. W (Passive): 30/40/50/60/70 (+35% Ability Power) plus 4/5/6/7/8% of the target's missing Health as Magic Damage over 3 seconds W (Active): additional 10/15/20/25/30 (+25% Ability Power) magic damage E: 70/120/170/220/270 (+75% Ability Power) magic damage R: 200/325/450 (+100% Ability Power) magic damage

New Fizz Q: 10/25/40/55/70 (+30% Ability Power) magic damage W (Passive): 20/30/40/50/60 (+45% Ability Power) magic damage W (Active): additional 10/20/30/40/50 (+ 4/5/6/7/8% of target's missing health as Magic Damage) E: 70/120/170/220/270 (+75% Ability Power) magic damage R: 200/325/450 (+100% Ability Power) magic damage (Gains 20% damage amplification for 6 seconds)

So Lets say Fizz has 100 AP and is lv. 18 ignoring magic pen and defenses

Old Fizz Total combo doing 1 attack with each ability: Q : 130 + 60 = 180 W passive : 70 + 35 + 8% target missing health = 105+8% target missing hp W active : 30 + 25 = 55 E : 270 + 75 = 345 R = 450 + 100 = 550. Total damage = 1130 + [105+ 8% target missing hp]

New Fizz Total combo doing 1 attack with each ability + 20% dmg boost from ult use): Q : 70 + 30 + 20% dmg boost = 120 W passive : 60 + 45 + 20% dmg boost = 126 W active : 50 + 8%target missing health + 20% dmg boost E : 270 + 75 + 20% dmg boost= 414 R = 450 + 100 = 550. Total damage = 1210 +[50 + 8% target missing hp + 20% dmg boost]

So Lets say Fizz has 200 AP and is lv. 18 ignoring magic pen and defenses

Old Fizz Total combo doing 1 attack with each ability: Q : 130 + 120= 250 W passive : 70 + 70 + 8% target missing health = 140+8% target missing hp W active : 30 + 50 = 85 E : 270 + 75 = 420 R = 450 + 200 = 650. Total damage = 1405 + [140+8% target missing hp]

New Fizz Total combo doing 1 attack with each ability + 20% dmg boost from ult use): Q : 70 + 60 + 20% dmg boost = 156 W passive : 60 + 90 + 20% dmg boost = 180 W active : 50 + 8%target missing health + 20% dmg boost E : 270 + 150 + 20% dmg boost= 504 R = 450 + 200 = 650. Total damage = 1490 +[50 + 8% target missing hp + 20% dmg boost]

Conclusion? Seems like he's a little bit more manageable to deal with pre 6 since his passive auto's won't hurt as bad and he can't grievous wound you anymore. But post 6, he gains a bit more damage and can still troll poll. With DFG gone, he's less bursty but still able to do considerable damage. Thoughts?

Minor rework.

More emphasis on good sharks, less on basic ability cheesing.

Also adds a sort of factor of unreliability. Landing the rather slow shark bait is much more difficult than point and clicking DFG.

Hmm. The E still there... hmm.

His overall burst potential post 6 is a little higher, assuming he gets any AP at all, but it requires him landing his skillshot ult on someone to apply that 20% boost now, and that will only effect one person, so overall I'd say it's a pretty sizable nerf, especially when you look at the non-burst components that changed, every auto no longer deals percent damage and he lost his grievous wounds.

I DO find it really ironic that after months of people complaining about Fizz's troll pole Riot showed up with everything changed BUT the pole on him, but I'll take what I can get.

I'm guessing riot saw his E as core to his identity as the trickster. I think these nerfs make him much more reliant on his ult being off cd. He won't be able to just continually roam killing people because he won't have near as much damage in his q I think

This is all IF he lands his ultimate. Without it, Fizz has to commit all of his spells to kill someone or get close.

Makes him a lot more ult reliant. Definitely a good thing, prevents Fizz from being quite so easy to go ham on after you get a kill.
