Gangplank gutted because C9 beat TSM from behind

Sure gangplank isn't balanced, but instead of gradual nerfs he gets completely gutted. Classic riot.

Yes you are right. Riot determines a champions balance based on events from one LCS game.
...Gangplank has been on the nerf block for a very long time because even if they nerf his lane presence he still has too much control and utility from his Ult. Even if you win your lane against GP he still comes back really strong during teamfights from his easy AoE Crits and risk-free farming with R. There's a reason he has such a large banrate. If a champion is getting banned in 80% of games throughout a season you can be sure they're either too powerful or to flexible.
Actually i think he is balanced right now, those 2 barrels less and suddenly you have to think before using them because whenever you're out of barrels you might as well have your trousers around your ankles. He now gets punished for using E without thinking but the enemy is still punished for grouping in tight spots and not warding properly.
