Patch 5.14 meta idea

Ok, so next patch we have two MAJOR item changes rolling through.

Sated devourer, causing onhit effects to be proced twice every other attack. Zekes herald, which is now causes you and any one ally to go super-sayan, granting 20% ap and 50% crit chance to bother of you.

Both of these are kindof rediculous.

Now, how can we abuse them to the max?

Toplane: High crowd control tank (Sion, Nautilus, Maokai) Mid: Bruiser/mage (Swain, ChoGath, Galio) Botlane: SOLO BOT, a high CC tank who can either farm from a distance, or will be useful without much gold, ideally with a good chunk of magic damage (Gnar, Thresh, Sion) Jungle: Double Jungle. Vayne and a high CC bursty support (Annie, Blitz, Thresh, Brand, Taric). The support does not take smite.

Now, you may be wondering,

WHY???

Well I will tell you.

Sated devourer causes you to double onhit effects. This includes the application of silver bolts. What this means is that once you get 30 stacks, you proc true damage every other auto attack instead of every third. Zekes herald will grant Vayne 50% crit chance for free, meaning that she can achieve 100% crit with only two crit items. The problems lie in that vayne does not have the early game power needed to gank effectively. This is where the support really helps. It doesnt really matter if vayne doesnt do a lot of damage early game, a blitz hook or a TYIBBERZ initiating a 3v1 or 3v2 fight WILL get you some kills.

Another major problem is that if you have jungle Vayne, you dont have a Jungle tank. This is where the rest of the teamcomp comes in. Vayne will be squishy, yes, but we make up for that with ALL THE TANKS in every other lane.

heres the problem: your support will be completely shut down to the point that they can't even afford sightstone since most gold generating items only work in a lane. Since jungle provides less EXP than lane your clear will be way slower. Also, since your suggested supports are mostly squishy, they can't even help tank monsters.

Its also a VERY high risk 4 protect 1 strategy. Vayne doesn't even do the 4 protect 1 thing very well since if the enemy team simply refuses to engage and pokes, you can't do much. Jinx is a much better ADC for 4 protect 1, and she can jungle independently - but then she doesn't need devourer since she scales better off crits. Kog also jungles better than Vayne, and is a way better candidate for 4 protect 1 since he has very significant magic damage.

I can see a team comp of Chogath top Orianna mid Urgot bot KogMaw Braum jungle to be more viable, since Braum only needs lvl. 6 and nothing else to be useful while being very good at tanking jungle, Urgot can easily farm in a 2v1 and Ori/Cho provide peel.

Kog should build: KogMaw summoner 11 summoner 4 item 3153item 3157 item 3726 item 3087item 3031 item 3020

which gives him alot of safety and really strong mixed damage on his autos.

I thought of that for a bit. Two ideas for the support. A) Support buys targons, pops the charges whenever he ganks as "Lane Tax" B) The sudden prescence of 3 people in a lane causes ganks to be more lethal, making kill/assist gold more common for them.

The rest of the team can help out the support in one very simple way upgrade your trinkets

As for how risky it is, yup. If they get a dive comp, Vayne is probably screwed, as she doesnt have heal. However, the rest of the comp A) Has the CC potential to protect vayne B) Can fend for themselves if the enemy focuses vayne, with Annie having +55% ap from combined Zekes and deathcap, an AP Cho'Gath or Swain in mid being a beast from constant 3-man ganks, and a duo of megatanks being meatshields for the squishies.

I havent gotten a chance to test this yet, because my connection is not good enough for LoL at the moment, but I just REALLY wanted to throw out a way to abuse both items.

*note. If vayne is confident, you can send your support botlane with the tank, and just have Vayne farm up. Less confusing for the enemy, but less risk (assuming no counterjungle)

Edit: Huh. Kogmaw. That actually works too. Well played.

I think that for this comp to work, you can't have a skirmisher ADC (like Vayne) with no AOE and short range. You need a long range teamfight ADC. Kog or Jinx is best for this purpose, but I think Kog works better since he doesn't need LW due to his huge mixed damage, scales off attack speed and his base damage alone, and has huge range. He can also take the best defensive item in the game - Zhonya's Hourglass - against divers, since he intrinsically scales well with AP.

I even think that Kog is one of the few ADCs that can afford to not build IE if he starts falling behind and can't afford 3 slots with one of them being BF sword.
