Empowered Whiplash

Make Evelynn Immune to displacement while in mid-dash. Make Empowered Whiplash deal half the damage on lashers landing, and the remaining half of the damage upon the animation's completion if you need people to be able to counter the damage some how, so that you can make this possible.

You give her the same thing as WW, incentive to move into melee range.

Everything about her kit tells me to move into melee range. When I get there, I only have one cycle of cool-downs to go through. If she uses Empowered Whiplash, it means she has taken great care to get into position to do so. Avoid being seen by wards and champions, kite the range of vision until the right moment, revealing herself as apart of the fight.

If those lashers hook on to a target, all it takes nullify Empowered Whiplash any displacement or root. That's no fun because everyone has a form of CC for the most part they can just whip out.

If Evelynn's managed to get her lashers on someone, she should do damage on contact, but she does no damage until the entire animation has ended, which is lengthy. In that length of time, anyone can interrupt her. Also, the damage is quite easy to Stasis away from.

Also the amount of time you are locked out from being able to cast another ability while using empowered whiplash is very sketchy. It just feels like she was created for another game and not League of Legends.

Cool champion, but this ability has always seemed undertuned and sloshy. I think my suggestion here would make it more evident with her kit what is supposed to work and what isn't. Besides... the way the kit is now, she's either completely useless or overpowered. There is a very narrow middle ground that you don't often see her dwell in, and the issues around Empowered Whiplash is to blame.

I just wanna throw in, even though this thread is about Whiplash, Demon Shade is very confusing, you have to be meticulous every level, and every purchase, just to see and understand what its doing.
