Silver Teams

Silver Top Laner: Runs it down top over and over again until he's in a game where it works. Blames team for not being ready for his split push. Won't communicate until dead.

Silver Jungler: Jungles till end game, is hopefully nearby when we need to get an objective (if he isn't then he will make sure he finishes his clear 20 minutes into the game)

Silver Mid Laner: Plays like assassin and waits in a bush. If they don't get the burst damage off, they will overstay until CDs are done and try, try again.

Silver ADC: Will absolutely not touch enemy players until they have at LEAST 2-3 items. If you catch someone out they will 100% finish that CS.

Silver Support: Will contemplate warding, won't. Doesn't care about roams, won't buy pinks. Will see a wave gathering bot and instead of letting someone clean it up will go there themselves with their 0 wave clear capabilities and smack away at minions while one of the roles mentioned above continues feeding.

The sad part about silver adc is they ignore the teamfight for a cs wave only to get 1-2 cs out of the entire wave.

You can't just put people into a category based on their rank. Their actual skills may happen to be fit for a better position--just unfortunate incidences like trolling teammates and such that keeps them grounded. On the contrary, someone who is a horrible player might consistently be getting boosted to a rank that they much less deserve because of fortunate team placings. I hate these posts more than anything, it's basically discriminating against certain ranks and all the players in that rank as a whole. Sure, some people in Silver may fit the description as you so put it but not everyone.

The biggest lie told in this game is "you deserve the rank you are put in no matter what." Because this is a team game, just how you play doesn't always determine the outcome. You could have played amazingly but unfortunately, your entire team was inting and feeding. 5 minutes in the game and the ADC already has a Quadra Kill. Fast forward a minute later and there is another. Such a situation is completely out of your control, there is nothing you can do about it. If there was a gamemode where it was a one-on-one that determined your rank, you could start classifying people correctly in terms of skill but the way you are sorting people of a rank based on what a few players here and there are doing is just garbage.

I see you are also one of those Silver players. How about I do the same thing you are doing, and completely trash on you because of your rank, without ever first-hand seeing your actual skill in game? Going by your thought, the only person who would have the right to trash talk another player would then be the number one player of the world. All other insults would prove to be hypocritical because you can't insult someone on having problems if you yourself have problems too.

As a low silver player I don't agree with this list, what I noticed a lot of times in silver/bronze is that they will often fight 3v5 or 4v5 for no reason they don't check if all of team is there, but the other points you mentioned I don't see all that often.

It's so true I had to laugh

Silver Jungler: Jungles till end game, is hopefully nearby when we need to get an objective (if he isn't then he will make sure he finishes his clear 20 minutes into the game)

Nah you got it backwards. They tower dive level 3 while on 1/2 hp, burn a flash Maybe and give away a kill. They then proceed to flame you for not helping.

Silver Mid Laner: Plays like assassin and waits in a bush. If they don't get the burst damage off, they will overstay until CDs are done and try, try again.

This is only true for assassins. Most silver midlaners mages will just push the lane as far as possible without warding anything, then when the enemy jungler comes from BEHIND them with either 1 shot potential or cc to chain, try to run PAST him to get to their tower.

Silver ADC: Will absolutely not touch enemy players until they have at LEAST 2-3 items. If you catch someone out they will 100% finish that CS.

I wish this were true. They don't respond to pings from Mid about roaming laners because there's 2 more cs to fail to get and die this much is true, but most will either feed and go midlane to tax the midlaner, or get ahead and push so far forward it's a free gank because...

Silver Support: Will contemplate warding, won't. Doesn't care about roams, won't buy pinks. Will see a wave gathering bot and instead of letting someone clean it up will go there themselves with their 0 wave clear capabilities and smack away at minions while one of the roles mentioned above continues feeding.

...Never ward, ignore pings, steal cs that could be good for a carry and ks as often as possible. Isn't this what a support is mean to do?

Fun aside, this is the typical silver team, but there are some of us that understand macro and just don't play enough ranked to get out, and from what I've seen/heard most other elo's aren't really that much better. Skill mechanics might be better, but macro tends to be myth up until plat for most players, and even then its a rare find. Meanwhile the toxicity gets worse the higher you climb, what with all those plat hidden fakers that are only not on the pro scene because of their teammates holding them back. At least in silver people KNOW they're not amazing at the game.
