I see so many people complaining about how certain champion are "Soooooooooo op" and their is "No counterplay to them!" 
being the biggest that comes to mind. Instead of complaining about them, why not learn what counters them so that when you face said champion, you can actually beat them? unless you just find it more fun to just complain on forums
Counter picks aren't true forms of counterplay because you cant pick after your lane opponent all the time
Because complaining, crying, and begging for nerfs takes less effort and intelligence. Using either is too hard for the people who do that.

Unless the counters don't really work because they either outrange you because their Q is pretty long range even though they're a melee champ or are extremely mobile and get close to you anyway without the use of minions.
I like playing against toplane Yasuo.
Countering him means you win lane.
Legit I became both a worse zed player and worse at facing zed just because people over ban him, I would be far better at both playing him and facing against him if he was played more.
if it gets to the forums then its cuz its "fun" to them tho i do not see how being stupid is "fun" in anyway.
Same reason why people don't just sit in lane farming for 30 minutes and end up dying constantly. It means you can't play what you want, which is core to enjoying yourself

gve me a counter to irelia that i can have fun with and win based on my champ.
I don't mind counters and perhaps even learning them. What I do mind is that how it seems to be now. You HAVE TO COUNTER PICK OR LOSE! The only strat for Fiora at her time was pick Pantheon, or Malphite, or bust. That is unhealthy, it reduces strategic choices of "do I counter pick with a champion I know how? Pick for the team comp?" etc. But now you have to counter pick or else you turned the game into a 6v4 situation. If you're first pick you're boned. Which saying that also can decide on which team wins the match in champion select. It can get to the point of flipping a coin and which ever team gets first pick loses because of counter picking.
I consistently run into issues where everyone picks squishies when I'm the support, and then they tell me to take tank. I'm sorry, but if the opponent has an intensely poke heavy support like Morgana, Sona, or Lux, I'm not playing a tank into that. 8/10 times they will snare and get me killed before I can do tank things. People never seem to understand that supports can get countered too, and then that screws not only the support, but the ADC too.
