With the defensive mastery that reduces crit damage, you will actually take less damage from crits this way than normal attacks. (75% of AD as opposed to 250%) This is only going to be good against teams that have too much AD AND are relying on crits, so this is niche as heck but one day you will see it

I'm assuming it's going to be a unique passive. Honestly I hope it isn't though, because of the nerfs to the stats.

No, it's not unique. I was on the PBE, it wasn't even a passive, just a stat it gave next to health and armor

250 - 70%

Err...you'll need to elaborate further. I'm seeing a 10% reduction to crits from masteries and a 10% reduction to crits from RO. That's 20% total. Also the reduction is to the final damage number not the crit modifier. So, for example, if you have 200 damage on your auto attack you crit for 400 (200%) or 500 with IE (250%). If you have the mastery and RO that damage would be reduced by 20% to 320 or 400 respectively. Both numbers are still quite a bit more than your base 200 damage.

Edit: Ah you are talking about building only RO. That won't work as pointed out by another poster on this thread. There are diminishing returns.

Its not unique, but crit reduction stacks multiplicatively, so the more crit reduction you build, the less you get from each. 19% with mastery, 27 or 28% with 2 randuins, 36 or 35 with 3, etc.

The normal critical hit damage is 200%. Reducing 200% by 10% reduces it down to 180% since you are taking away 20%. Critical hits will deal 180% damage instead of the normal 200%. With IE, this will be reduced down to 225% since you then take away 25%. What he thinks is if you build Randuin's six times, it will reduce critical hit damage by 60%. That reduces down to 80% with normal critical strike damage and 100% with IE. Don't know about 75% or 70%.

However, I do believe it stacks multiplicative. Meaning it will reduce down to 180% from 200%. Then the second will reduce it down by 18% instead of 20% since it reduces it by 10%. At least I think that's it... right?

I assume it stacks multiplicatively, leading to a 100% - (100% - 10%)^7 = 52,17% reduction instead of a 7 x 10% = 70% reduction. So crits with IE will still deal 130,43% AD damage.
