There is not ONE legitimate reason to allow players to play a champ for the first time in ranked.

If you even remotely cared about toxicity, integrity of your ladder you would have addressed this 5 years ago, the fact that you haven't bothered to address it for 5 years shows how little you actually care about your customers. The fact that ranked is your feeder system to your precious pro leagues and revenue stream makes it borderline criminal.
