Zac needs some help

I mean, he REALLY needs it. I love playing Zac, his kit is just fun and the stuff he says is great, but damned if he's not nigh impossible to do well with. It seems like he isn't nearly tanky enough to justify how little damage he does, and he isn't damaging enough to justify not building straight tank unless you go straight AP, but that's just gimmicky. Somehow Zac manages to be too squishy to be a tank until the late game, and his CC is easy for anyone to get out of. The few times I've done well was with teams who had CC of their own to add onto the meh CC that his kit has.

I suggest buffing either his defenses or his CC to make him feel a bit better, because right now there's literally no reason to play as Zac and that just plain sucks.

Is there anyone else out there who feels the same? Are there any Zac mains who might be able to give me some advice?

zac is my most played champion, well, he was.... anyways, havent really touched him since they nerfed him into the ground. its very unfortunate.

I think its the fact that he literally uses so much HP to do his attacks. The percentage thing isn't bad but it really hurts Zac even with a lot of HP. I think that was one of his many nerfs.

The second being his non-targetable ultimate.

Then there is the slowed passive.

  • So, lets just say, you don't want to die in a gank. But also, the sad thing is, no matter what, he doesn't regain all of his HP even if un-targeted. That's a little sad since they did nerf the passive...

Zac in lane could use tons of help, even though people don't generally think him as a laner. My problem is is "goo" flies everywhere, and the enemy can easily just step on it. I don't know why it does that, like legit it just flies 2-3 units in front of me and I have no way in getting it without getting poked or minions aggression.

His team fight is ok, considering the buff on his w and his ability to leap and ultimate.

Yeah, I do feel like they need to either give him more base health throughout the game, give him more base AD, give his abilities more base damage, or all of the above. I can't play Zac anymore because of how other top laners out rank him in damage and also not needing many items to still do damage

This was actually another one of his nerfs. They purposefully made the slime fall in a direction towards the enemy champion.

What was the goal? To...force this Mediocre low damage fairly squishy tank character into harms way for an extremely minor heal...? Good thinking on that one, Riot. Now do the same to Draven.

I thought Nautilus has hard time in jungle, but then I picked Zac. Now Nautilus seems to be rather easy jungler.

I actually saw two Nauts today who did pretty well for themselves. I was surprised.

starting Krugs seem to help my clears a lot, after that it's just like last season.
