So, Let's Talk about Fixing Vayne (maybe)

Vayne What can I say about this champion.... she terrorizes my games. Not so much with the ADC reworks in preseason, but I would imagine that when people are done trying these champions out that my solo-queue will be terrorized 1v5 capable monster. Basically I was thinking of how much I hated the fact that true damage was a thing, just entertaining a fun thought when this idea sprung to me. Something that would allow Vayne to be a tank killer, without truly just obliterating everything. Her current passive on her W, as we all know deals Max % health as true damage... maybe I'm just salty but i see no way to build against that at all. What if it was changed though? What if, instead of true damage, each successive auto attack granted increasing armor penetration? I had gotten the idea from Mordekaiser's Q. For instance (I'm throwing out random numbers here, I would leave the math to Riot's game developers.)

  • First auto attack against a target ignores 10% of the target's total armor
  • Second consecutive auto attack ignores 25% of the target's total armor
  • Third consecutive auto attack consumes all of the marks and ignores 100% of the target's total armor.

Now, squishy targets would be hurt by this, but as they usually wouldn't build too much armor, the effect wouldn't be so overpoweringly hard hitting as the maximum % true damage. This effect would take an especially hard hitting effect on tanks. Just imagine the third proc of the W passive critically striking, ignoring all of the enemy's armor.

I don't know, I Just thought of this and felt really good about the idea. I would love feedback and for some Rioter's to read this and tell me how possible this is, or if it is a considerable idea at all.

Only thing that makes her OP now is the new rapidfire cannon(?) that gives her extra range
