If a player is queued alone, the strength is determined by his personal matchmaking rating (referred to as MMR from here on out) and number of wins for that particular queue.

I have like 80 games in solo ranked, but I've been paired with people who have 2000.

Cocho1 votesFrom my experience, raw wins affecting it is simply not true. You're misunderstanding it. We're interpreting it differently. MMR makes more of an impact. The real question is what effects your mmr. I'm okay with wins making my mmr higher anyway. That just means im going to get more LP per win, and lose less per loss.

Live2LetDie1 votesI already pointed this out.. you are usually paired with people around your W/L. If you are under 50% so are everyone else in the game usually.
