Dynamic Q lowered toxicity !
I just had a game when trio premade banned my two main picks cause i dint wanted to give them ADC.
I just had a game when trio premade banned my two main picks cause i dint wanted to give them ADC.
I keep getting experiences that can best be defined as some form of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy.
One game I was playing mid lane and getting camped by the enemy jungler and my jungler (queued with two buddies) ignored the lane (despite being pushed up to my tower) and instead decided to tell me to commit suicide while his mates defended his bizarre behavior.
I'd say toxicity has gotten** multiplicatively** worse with DQ because one player who says such awful things they make you want to call CPS suddenly becomes four players saying awful things.
And yes, you can mute them, but you can't mute pings nor can you mute their in game behavior.
Munchausen specifically denotes a caregiver, this is just sadism. Not ganking a losing lane is one of the most valid strats in League.
This might be of help if you are struggling with communication: don't do it. You have little to no say in how other people play the game. If you play the game without chat for a while (drag it outside the screen), I bet you will get a better experience. In lower ELO (bronze-platinum), you don't need to communicate with anyone at all. Throw a ping out here and there but that's it. That's if you're playing to improve. But if you are playing to talk to immature people, maybe keep the chat but keep in mind most of them are not interested in anything you have to say.
And lastly, I agree that Ping Mute should be a thing.
maybe you should give them adc next or have more than 2 adc picks
Edit: keep down voting kids, look away from solutions to issues like this
thx for 200 downvotes, new milestone :^)
Are you serious?
ya tbh
toxicity won't happen if you obey them
[deleted]
being a beta bitch is what got me to diamond. im mid assigned, and someone says mid or feed? guess im playing jungle.
ayyy thats great have fun having no backbone!
Suddenly sacraficing for the benefit of your team is seen as a negative trait?
The point of the new champ select is that sacrificing for your team won't be necessary anymore. What they did was unsportsmanlike and childish.
Sacrificing yourself for the "team"? No.
Premades all share one mentality, and should be treated as a single player.
Why do they get to have all the power? You get in a champ select with a premade? You better be their bitch and do exactly what they tell you. Or else.
"All" is a pretty broad statement.
True enough, some can be nicer. A lot of them aren't. "Most"
[deleted]
ok kinda uncalled for??
[deleted]
i would say no but i want to win my games
i still have fun but just in a role i don't prefer
this is ranked btw, if some kids tries to pull that off in a normals, no way lol, im going to make our team lose
[deleted]
why are you taking this game so serious?
since when is letting someone have a role so they don't troll and you can win giving up your humanity?
[deleted]
i dont care about pride in a vidya game, i just want to win
So you have given up: -your right(role given by system) -your pride -your dignity(bending over) -your education(god your spelling)
what next?

Are you stupid or trolling?
Neither tbh
Incorrect.
Oh! Yeah! This totally never happened before.
No sireee, there were never trolls or anything in solo queue! It was a veritable paradise of human kindness! Woot woot!
Dynamic Queue added to the problem. What are you talking about? Even if it existed in Solo Q, Dynamic Queue is still way worse.
Please cite me sources. Your claims require evidence.
My personal, anecdotal evidence says to the contrary - so why am I to believe you, or anyone has to say?
Downvote me all you want.
All Dynamic Queue complaints are purely emotional. That's all.
inb4 someone says your name is the reason that you like DQ
All Dynamic Queue complaints are purely emotional. That's all.
.....you have no clue what a competitive game means do you. SOLO vs a team with anything other than SOLOs defeats the purpose of a competitive game. That isnt emotional. Thats called math and logic.
How does it not add problems? Solo Q already had problems. Riot could have fixed them but no. They didn't fix them at all, they simply added to the problem by removing Solo Q and adding Dynamic Queue; which includes all the same problems Solo Q had on top of its own problems that it brought to the game like lack of competition and fairness. The only thing Dyn Q solved was getting your role which was the least important problem and wasn't even a real issue except for scrubs in bronze who all wanted to go mid or kids who can't handle not getting wtf they want. You don't answer spoiled people by treating them like kings. You humble them.
I doubt it but if you really need evidence to tell you why a 3-5 premade is unfair against a full team of strangers, then you're a moron. And why should I consider your opinion? Those "purely emotional" complaints have more facts than your shitty opinion that has no perspective on the matter. Like you know nothing about wtf we're talking about and you can literally NEVER give a credible opinion about it until you prove you are competitive, know what you're takling about.
It doesn't take a fucking genius to guess why Dynamic Queue stifles competition and is unfair. It's not rocket science people. Use your fucking head and think for 5 minutes. It's not hard. I know this generation of kids don't like to put in any type of effort but this is ridiculous.
People can disagree with me but say the complaints are purely emotional? LOL. Many who supports Dyn Q don't believe the complaints are purely emotional. They believe it is a legitimate problem. The top arguing point is that bringing back Solo Q will ruin Queue time. And riot knows if they bring back Solo Q, Dynamic Queue will be empty except for scrubs who want to get boosted. Rank used to be about "I need to get better/want to get better so I can rank up." Now it's "Gotta rank up/WTF I CANT RANK UP FUCK YOU RIOT NOT MYF AULT"
Can't tell you the average standard plays made in my ELO by teammates become worse whenever a premade is in my team because 80% of the times they refuse to work with non-premades. They just ignore us. You just can't win no matter what even if you accept them and try to tolerate it.
Dis DQ all you want, but overall, it appeals to the masses.
DQ grants more flexibility than soloq ever did. Granted that DQ isn't without it's problems, I still like DQ better than soloq.
1.) I can play with all my friends. Gathering 4 worthy friends to play games with ALL the time was a huge hassle, and if you have more than one friend to play with then that means that someone is left out of the dark, DQ made it possible to have 3 to 5 man premades and thus helped co-operation in the team. this does have problems though. If there is a 4 man premade then that means that the one remaining player is often singled out and ignored. That sucks. But it's better than my soloQ experience, which is where everyone just kinda did their own thing without any concern of anybody else and overall there was almost no co-operation period (except for ADC and Support, which requires it) 2.) While facing a five man premade as an entirely solo team is aggravating, and being the one left out on a 4 man premade is just as aggravating, it's not impossible to say that the same couldn't happen in solo Q. There were many times where lets say the mid-laner and the jungler were duo together, well that means that our jungler is going to gank our mid-lane a lot and kinda leave bot lane out of the picture. And facing against a duo bot lane was both just as frustrating and common.
Dude like 85% of the playerbase is mechanically horrible and half of those playerbase lack fundamental knowledge of the game. The reason why people hate DQ is because it appeals to idiot people and caters to people who suck and rewards them for the win anyways. I mean think about it. Back in the days of Solo Q, you still had your good team players but most people relied on their own skill to rank up. If they improved their skill, they would rank up gradually. And everyone believed they earn the rank. NOW, you depend on your teammates for the win. Ranking up isn't about getting better. It's about stacking your team with as much talent and cooperation as possible. Therefore the game is won before the queue is even set up? That's what you're trying to promote? A system that doesn't reward you for skill or doing stuff correctly. A system that rewards you for stacking advantages before a match can even begin champ select? All the while, you have people with 0 skill consistently ranking up when they would never have made it out of bronze ordinarily.
Majority of the times, appealing to the masses/catering to casuals/etc ruins the game. Some hardcore loyal fans in those games that all suffered the same fate still deny it till their face is blue but everyone knows it has peaked. It isn't going to get better. It's going to go downhill.
Fact of the matter is RANK is for competition. You're asking competitive players to dumb down to your crap standards because it "appeals" to all you nubs. Riot themselves is admitting Dyn Q sucks and ruins competition by removing 3-5 man queue for competitive ranks.
You pretend that in Solo Q, only YOU and YOUR actions determine weather or not you win, and that is just false. It doesn't matter if you were duo or solo you still had to rely on 3-4 other players to do well. If I'm playing Twisted Fate mid, it definitely matters whether or not I feed, but it also matters if the enemies top lane trynd gets fed too.
Playing ADC? You better hope that the enemies assassin or burst mage doesn't get feed. Playing top? You better hope that the enemy jungler doesn't get feed, or that your jungler knows how to gank properly...or gank at all. Playing support? As a support main I can tell you that you can't carry a team as a support, and that you have to rely on your adc a lot just to win lane.
It's like you don't even understand that League is a TEAM game. It doesn't matter if you won lane, or how many turrets you took, or how fed you got, in the end all the matters is which team won.
And that is exactly the problem. You see, soloq encouraged solo play, and was used to the point that many people (like yourself) think that its a solo game, which it just isn't.
Look at any sport with teams in it and tell me how many times athletes get paired with other random players every time a new game starts. There are none.
And it's not as if you can just q up with anyone, they at least have to be near your rank to q with you.
And btw, all the talking down just makes you look like a moron. In any debate, once you resort to simple name-calling, you lose, just plain and simple.
No one saying Solo Q = only you and your actions determine whether you win or not; you're just assumign that because you guys are dumb and need every obvious little thing pointed out... We know it's a team game. Tired of this bullshit excuse argument you guys always throw back at us.
Majority of people who are in premades are worse team-players than solo q players. Don't fucking kid me like you guys who only work well with specific players are better teammates than people who work well with EVERYONE.
I am not arguing that premade players are better teamplayers, I am arguing that, in general, premade people ARE teamplayers whereas solo players are NOT.
Also, dont "fucking kid me" like you guys work well with EVERYONE, cause that is just bullshit.
At least this is my experience, but what do I know? I'm in bronze!
Basically what I am saying is that League is a TEAM game, and here we have a mechanic that encourages TEAMwork. Why is that such a bad thing?
You're entire argument is that [insert idea here] is unfair because when players use [insert idea here] they are more likely to work together as a team than a team that does not [insert idea here] and as a player that does not use [insert idea here] I am tired of going against people with [insert idea here].
You could use this argument against pinging, minimap, and chat. This is a feature in the game that is usable by players to increase their winrates. Granted you by no part HAVE to participate, but just because you don't doesn't mean that it is unfair when people do use it to get the advantage.
And you know how you could solve this? Get skype. That is really the only major difference between pre-mades and solo players is that premades are probably communicating over Skype and thus are able to communicate and plan much more effectively because of it. If you get a skype account and try to get your teammates into a skype call you can also benefit from this (granted it's not like everyone is going to want to join a skype call, but you can't say that it doesn't help).
And it's not like this concept is new to gaming, it's been around forever. If I pop on Battlefield and play solo, depending on the players in the match I have around a 50% chance of winning. If I pop into a party with my friend and play a match, my chances of winning increases dramatically.
Let me tell you the problem with this and I hope you won't take offense because I will bring up your rank. Players like me, we have earned ranks and found that team-players exist everywhere. You just have to earn your spot among them by getting out of the lower ranked brackets.
For you, you don't see players who are good and are team players. Majority of my games, people did not rage and were great team players and teammates. I say don't fucking kid me because you still argue like a moron that solo q players are not team players. WE ARE. WE CAN COMMUNICATE WITH JUST PINGS WHILE YOU ONLY PREFER TO WORK WITH SPECIFIC PEOPLE ONLY! HOW ARE YOU BETTER TEAMMATES OR TEAM PLAYERS!? You aren't. Solo Q players never forget the importance of teamwork.
In YOUR experience, where you're at the lowest bracket tier of all the bad players and new players, OF COURSE you're not going to run into consistently competent and serious players who act like they SHOULD. You're in bronze. At the lowest rank. You're going to have to accept the fact that you will come across teammates who don't play the game as a team player. They play selfishly. So you judge the entire competitive players and players who earned and paid their dues on the bad players you play with? Why shoudln't we feel angry when you automatically treat us like we'er shittier team players than you when we're not. I guarantee I'm a better teammate than you and 90% of players will agree that I am better than you or any of the people accusing people like me of not being team players simply because I want solo q back. You guys have 0 logic and reasoning over this matter... why should anyone take what you say seriously?
You are such a teamplayer and your elo is full of team players and yet it is so hard to get your whole team into a skype call? Or at least 2 of them?
Seriously that is the ONLY difference between a premade and a non-premade. You act like people can be such good friends that they can predict each-others moves and as someone that plays with his best-friend of 8 years I can assure you that this is not true. Even when I am at his house and he is mere 3 feet away from me, there are STILL times where we are not properly communicating and mistakes happen. The advantage of DQ is that chances are premades will be in a skype call and have the advantage of communicating instantly instead of using pings (which can be vague) or the chatbox (which takes time and takes you away from the game). But there is NOTHING about DQ that says that unless you are a premade you can't get into a skype call.
As far as you claiming that your elos are so full of nice players that work well with their team no matter who they are...I'm calling bullshit.
Don't misunderstand me, I know that working well with your team increases your odds of winning, and more wins equals a higher elo of course. But everyone talks about toxicity in this game and it's not just Bronze players that encounter it. Toxicity happens across all elos (except maybe challenger and diamond). Thus, if toxic players exist in your elo then your argument that your elo consists of people that work with their team is
null and void.
If you are such a teamplayer that works so well with EVERYONE then there is no difference between a premade and solo team and you shouldn't be bitching
Once again I will state an argument that you have failed to address.
Let me sum up your argument ok?
1.) Premades can consist of 2-5 players. 2.) These players are friends. 3.) These players will work together as a team because they are friends 4.) Better teamwork equals a better chance of winning obviously. 5.) This form of better teamwork over-cedes soloq's players with better skill. 6.) This is unfair to soloq players.
This is MY counter-argument
1.)K
2.) Premades aren't always friends, they could have just added each-other because they got along well from a previous match
3.)These players will work together as a team better because they are probably in a skype call.
4.)K
5.) Teamwork IS A SKILL. Depending on which skills you are good at or bad at, some skills over-cede another. For example, if I am a great
so I willingly walk into mid against a counter I am probably going to lose lane. Great at ganking? They could be great at warding. Great at roaming? They could be great at pushing etc. There are methods you can use to improve these various skills before the game even starts. Don't willingly walk into a counter pick. Use effective R+M's. Pick the champion that fits both YOUR needs and YOUR TEAM'S needs. Take the proper summoner spells. Chat with your team your game plan (like if you are going to roam a lot, or stay in lane, if you need a gank, if you need someone to ward your red, etc). As far as teamwork goes, one way to improve this skill is to use skype, which premades often use. Premades are a mechanic or League now and instead of simply bashing it constantly, perhaps you should use it, like an new item or champion.
No point arguing. Riot basically admitted premades make the game unfair and are removing it in competitive ranks where it actually matters. Yet here you are saying dynamic queue doesn't put advantages on one side or the other but you are in a rank where it doesn't affect you guys... Also Riot said for years that premades of 3-5 are unfair in a rank setting where solo/duo queue players might be in. Dude it's proven. You can call bullshit all you want. All pro player streamers have already called bullshit on Dynamic Queue being fair and competitive. A lot of streamers with high rank and high game knowledge are on record saying Dyn Q makes the game unfair. Riot was on record BEFORE dynamic queue ever came out talking about premades of 3-5 is unfair to solo/duo queues.
Someone brought up interesting point of duo queue also being unfair to solo queue only players; Riot responded again 3-5 is a dominant number of a team. 60% OR MORE. This was a huge argument when they first implemented Team Builder and people demanded team builder implementation in rank. Riot's claim was they won't because you cannot counter-pick, it was like blind pick, and it would be unfair for solo and duo players. That's why there was a huge backlash against Dynamic Queue. Because Riot said it was bad for competition and toxicity for years already. And yet again... here you are. Saying it's all bullshit. And that it's all in our heads. A bronze player who can't understand a simple concept of why dominant premade queue (stacking advantages before a champ selection even begins) is bullshit that plenty of high ranked players and even the company of the game went on record to say otherwise.
This just in. Riot is never wrong.
Dude like 85% of the playerbase is mechanically horrible and half of those playerbase lack fundamental knowledge of the game
Ok, so just not true. Like I could believe that 85% of the player base cannot compete at challenger level but to say that 85% of them are just plain ass? Yeah I'm not buying it.
Back in the days of Solo Q, you still had your good team players but most people relied on their own skill to rank up. If they improved their skill, they would rank up gradually. And everyone believed they earn the rank. NOW, you depend on your teammates for the win. Ranking up isn't about getting better. It's about stacking your team with as much talent and cooperation as possible.
and then there is
No one saying Solo Q = only you and your actions determine whether you win or not
This sure does look like a contradiction to me
Toxicity wasn't eliminated. There are still going to be instances of toxic players. However, according to Riot, the number of those instances has declined since the release of Dynamic Queue.
Decline of toxic players most likely cooresponded with the decline of players in general. You cannot tell me people haven't left this game as regulars. Also, less toxic players doesn't mean the system is any good because the number of complaints shows that it isn't. Riot's 'bandaid' of 'emblems' is basically telling players to 'let them eat cake'.
Riot's 'bandaid' of 'emblems' is basically telling players to 'let them eat cake'.
That sentence doesn't make any sense, unless you're quoting three different people, spanning different centuries, within one sentence.
? It's proportional. That's ridiculous.
Dynamic queue only reduces toxicity for premades since they are playing with friends. DQ did nothing to directly improve the game experience for solos
Rather than typing out their frustrations at you in chat, the premade can complain about you to their hearts content on their voice chat.
The wording in the video isn't implying that the number of victims declined, but rather the number of sources declined. It's not 4 people ganging up on a solo teammate game after game after game, as that would result in a rise in the number Riot's seeing.
